“Initially the natural deodorant that I used was very good, and worked! I love the idea of a product not clogging my pores (sweating is healthy!) And it also stopped the bacteria from building up, so I didn't smell 😅 However, towards the end of the second week of usage, I started to notice redness on my armpits, and the skin became very sensitive and sore. I'm not sure if this was caused by the deodorant, or something else, but it did look suspiciously like an infection. I am a little confused about that however as if it was an infection, I would have assumed that it would have occurred much sooner.”

“Quick service and nice products but the Charcoal fibre dental floss (made by others) is not plastic free so not all natural. It includes polyester fibres. You need to make that clearer or only stock the silk based version.”

“Tithe products are lovely, I was wonder whether a pipettes type lid for the oils as I tend to pour out too much. Sure my skin I’d looking better .Not keen on the deodorant stick it feels gritty.”

“amazinc moisturiser; A small pot at £20+ feels very expensive. The moisturiser is pretty much like candle wax, takes a lot of warming up and rubbing in between your hands to make it like a cream. Is hard to spread on your face for instance. Skin feels oily after initial use but after a while does sink and your skin does feel softer. I think it’s a good product but time will tell if it’s really beneficial. Not sure I would buy this again.”

“First time user - HONEST review First up Peace With The Wild dispatched the products really quickly, decent packaging - no plastic in site so box ticked, excellent. I bought; The Bain shampoo bar and conditioner. Shampoo is good but does leave your hair feeling kind of like grippy. It creates an easy foam so all good there. The conditioner bar doesn’t seem to do anything really. My major gripe though is the size of the bars - they are small and expensive, I was disappointed when I opened the box to find how small they are. I really think this knowledge should be made obvious - a photograph of the product next to something for perspective would help before buying. I don’t think they’ll last more than a month. I also bought the shaving soap bar, not a bad size, foams up ok but for a stubbly face honestly it’s not as ‘nice’ as using regular shaving foam but it’s ok. I also bought the mutiny razor, the handle is too small, too thin and quite heavy - it literally slips out of my hand. Very awkward to use and afraid to say it cut my face up no matter how careful I am with it. Basically don’t want to use it now. The Geo-organics toothpaste (charcoal) is not particularly nice. A weak minty flavour, doesn’t foam like a regular toothpaste but does do the job - I would suggest a different flavour as it’s just not a nice experience using it. Again it’s expensive and the pot is tiny so not sure how long it will last. On the whole our household are trying to do the right thing but it’s an expensive journey. There are a lot of products out there to choose from but getting value seems impossible. I’ll continue with my quest to go plastic free and save the environment but I really feel there needs to be some more honesty about the products and the value associated. If the products were cheaper we would make a much more immediate change, until then I feel not enough people will switch.”

“The candles are lovely but the one in the metal tin was dented and the label had dirty marks on it so I couldn’t give it as a gift as intended, sadly.”

“Love the shampoo bar. Smells great and hair squeaky clean. Not so keen on the toothpaste taste though. Deodorant smells great at the beginning of the day, I however do not at the end! Will persevere for the sake of our planet!”

“I love the natural deodrant that you supply. They all smell great. However I am struggling with the bar of shampoo which seem to make my hair feel like straw and when I use the conditioner my hair looks like I haven't washed it for days. I looks greasy.”

“I haven't had a chance to use yet. Everything smells and looks good but sadly with the packaging, everything is wet through with oil/serum. I don't know if this is a one off or due to the nature of the products how they arrive. I am happy to see environmentally friendly packaging and welcome it but maybe something a bit more substantial.”

“I ordered a toothpaste and it came with a bamboo spatula. I do not see the point of this, most (if not all) people will have a metal teaspoon which would suffice, and (one would imagine) be far more sustainable than a bamboo spatula. The bamboo spatulas probably do not all get recycled/composted, in which case they needlessly contribute to landfill/incineration. I do not see the point in the spatulas, a teaspoon that one already has at home seems a better implement and far more sustainable.”

“I liked the bamboo toothbrush and the make up removal pads -although I found the pads a little bit expensive-. My husband liked the toothpaste in tablets, he said it works for him and it is easy to bring when you travel (we have small containers and we use them to bring some tablets) I think I need to try the georganic toothpaste in a paste form. I quite like the paste feeling, I have the impression it cleans better. I also bought a facial sun protector tube, but I found it very hard to use. Not easy to spread.”

“I was a bit confused as to why I couldn't order a full box online. I got a sample of 3 but I already knew the product and wanted to buy bulk to save on delivery. Pretty sure it said I had to do this in order to then order a box but I might be making that up. I definitely couldn't find the "order lots" function.”
