“Great knowledge of , and passion for Thai food that came through in the class. Helpful tips along the way , to ensure the ideal result. A very engaging style that kept me interested through out the session. Finally, we enjoyed tasting three great Thai recipes to finish. All in all, a lovely afternoon”

“Spent yesterday afternoon having a lesson - and it was just brilliant. Apart from having ingredients and flavours properly explained, we got so many little tips that just make being in the kitchen and preparing food so much easier. The meal we produced and sat down to at the end of the afternoon was delicious - and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and fun. I highly recommend Paya Thai Cooking courses.”

“I had really enjoyable afternoon learning how to make great Thai food. I met some very nice and interesting people to share the experience with. Jirapan is a very good teacher and has a passion for her countries food. I learnt so much about the ingredients used and when to add them. Eating the food is the best part with a delicious white wine. I now have the recipes and where to buy the ingredients from and will create a meal for friends. Thank you very much for teaching us so much and letting us in your home. Christina”

“Jirapan took time to gauge the abilities of the class and tailored it well. There were explanations of the different ingredients, where to source them, how to use them and what they brought to the dish. She encouraged us to taste as we went along so we could see what adding further ingredients brought to the dish. The resulting dishes were fabulous! I was happy to come home with recipes for the dishes we'd cooked; now I just have to see if I can re-create them!”

“The course was incredibly helpful and gave excellent hands on advise on ingredients, chopping etc It is very interactive with everyone having a turn at the stove and tasting the various stages in the cooking process. Then we got to eat the 3 dishes we made which was delicious! Jirapan was a good teacher and very friendly.”

“The course was run by Jirapan who is Thai, so the food we cooked was very authentic. It was a hands on course cooking 3 dishes, which you eat at the end. It was a relaxed and fun atmosphere to learn in. There were som any tips we learnt about Thai cooking along with which are the best ingredients to get. If you want to cook extremely good Thai food at home, then these are the courses for you. They are extremely recommended!!”

“The flavours and smells just went on and on, getting better and better. The whole experience invoked memories of my visit to Thailand years ago. Learning how to make the meals from raw ingredients rather than packets was amazing. Defintely going to try out the menus on my family. Looking forward to the next experience. “Really enjoyed the afternoon, Jirapan was so welcoming and great at sharing her knowledge and telling funny stories. It was so interesting to learn more about the food and culture in a very professional kitchen, of course the best bit was eating our lovely food at the end. Just about to have another go at the stir fry, I have definitely got a lot more confidence with Thai cooking now, my favourite food in the world!!! Thank you for your hospitality Jirapan.”

“Go.........you will not be disappointed. Fabulous in every way. Excellent teacher in Jirpan, she was so calm and informative, felt like we had met many times before, but we had not. Great explanation of the food and ingredients. The most important part, is obviously the food. It was delicious. 10 out of 10. Great value, great teaching, great food. Thank you!”
