“This was the second visit to Paya Thai - I liked it so much last time I took my daughter this time and she loved it too. If you are stuck for a Christmas present for someone, buy them a voucher for a course I would guarantee they will not be disappointed, really friendly, makes you so welcome and the food you cook and eat is completely out of this world, you will never have tasted anything like good well cooked Thai food and you will have cooked it - brilliant - and then you sit and eat it - yummy.”

“Initially we had to change our booked date quite late as my fiancée was taken ill, the course was rebooked without a fuss and we attended the first date that we could. When we arrived we were greeted, offered tea or coffee, and made to feel very welcome. There were four other people (two couples) at the cooking course so we didn't feel at all crammed in so to speak. The course itself was informative, fun, very hands on and went along at a nice pace, at no time did we feel rushed or that we were on a conveyor belt. We sat down to eat our dishes afterwards and also enjoyed some complimentary wine. All in this was (is) a very affordable, friendly and professional cooking course. Thank you Jirapan for a great experience.”

“This was my second visit to Paya Thai Cooking and the second was every bit as good as the first visit. Really friendly and helpful and the cooked food is delicious. The time spent in explaining each ingredient and the process of cooking makes it so simple to produce authentic Thai dishes at home. I look forward to my third visit in the future”

“I attended having been given the class as a birthday present - and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Jirapan is a wonderful host and teacher, the class being held in her home and a fabulous modern (state of the art) kitchen. The six of us in the class whilst being all adults were of a quite an age range differing experiences of preparing Thai food - from nothing through to others who had been to a similar class in the past. Each of us had our own work station but the majority of the preparation and cooking was done in a team effort under Jiarapan's excellent eye and tutelage! We cooked a Beef Massaman Curry, Chicken Stiry Fry and Chicken Satay and had the joy of eating what we had prepared at the end of the class. I for one was introduced to spices I had not seen before and some methods of preparation which were new to me. It was an excellent 3.5 hours or so and I would have no hesitation in recommending to others as a present or doing it yourself. Indeed I am now considering another visit to try a different set of meals! Great tuition, lovely atmosphere and a really fun time out!”

“Such a lovely to house to spend time on my first Thai Cooking course. Jirapan is so friendly and gave us lots of hints and ideas about how things are done in a Thai home rather than in fancy restaurants. Everything was well organised, timed to perfection and we had the added bonus of being able to eat what we had cooked. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend the course to anyone who wants to learn more about Thai cooking.”

“A fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for both the novice and enthusiast. Jirapan provides a very light hearted and personal experience, in a beautiful family home, with a particularly impressive and fit for purpose kitchen. Her enthusiasm and knowledge really came through, sharing interesting food related tales of her childhood in Thailand. The dishes were all absolutely divine and felt well earned having all had a hand in their creation! I came away feeling educated, full and warm! I look forward to the next class.. Thank you!”

“I spent a delightful afternoon in Jirapan's amazing demonstration kitchen observing and participating hands on in cooking fragrant Thai dishes. What a treat! Jirapan shared her talented culinary experience with us and we were able to sample our efforts before departing with a folder of recipes. The first taste was definitely with the eyes before even picking up our cutlery, thereafter it is just so delicious. A perfect day out for male or female guests.”

“Really super friendly atmosphere, the kitchen was spotless and everything was simple. The recipes were so easy i could make them at home in no time and i learnt everything from how to cut a pepper without seeds everywhere to cooking coconut milk without oil. Really informative and a lovely thing to do with my mum, i had a great day thank you very much”

“Everyone was so very friendly, the kitchen was immaculate and it was a nice atmosphere. Very simple dishes but i learnt things as simple as how to cut a pepper without shedding seeds to cooking coconut milk without oil. Super informative and really a lovely thing to do with my mum. I enjoyed myself greatly, thank you very much”
