“Really enjoyed this class - very warm welcome, step by step instruction and explanation of all ingredients used with an emphasis on hands-on experience and tasting throughout so you know how different ingredients change the flavour profile. Do keep a mental note of tips that Jiripan provides and the general process while making the dishes, so you can supplement the recipe handouts given at the end with things that the class might have done a bit differently on the day. Really recommend this - produced some very delicious dishes!”

“Had a great afternoon with Jirapan and a lovely group of people keen to learn more about Thai food. She's very knowledgeable, super-friendly and took time to explain ingredients and their uses, where to get them and how to prepare them. I took away new skills I know I'll enjoy using over and over.”

“Jirapan created a very relaxed and friendly environment. We tasted throughout the cooking process which allowed us to see how different ingredients enhanced the recipe. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would like to do another course in the future. I would definitely recommend Paya Thai”

“A really good afternoon learning new skills. Instruction was excellent and all questions were answered in detail with recommendations of where to buy Asian produce, alternatives and expected prices. There were six of us on the day and it was fun listening to other people's views and experiences and sitting down at the end of the class with a bottle of wine and enjoying the final product. Only down side was that there is only one hob to work on so it was very much a joint effort. However, the recipes and instructions taken away were a good prompt for cooking at home alone. Good value and very friendly - a very enjoyable afternoon.”

“I bought vouchers for the course for my girlfriends birthday as we both really loved Thai food but had been unable to recreate really good Thai food at home. The day was brilliant and Jirapan was fantastic, making everyone feel at ease within minutes. Both me and my girlfriend are excited to try out what we have learned on our friends and family as the food we produced on the day was awesome. Thank you Jirapan.”

“I had a very enjoyable day cooking some of my all time favourite dishes. Everything we needed was supplied, including a glass of wine to go with our meal at the end. Jirapan is an excellent teacher and explained the various steps clearly to us all, and the food came out perfectly. I have already invited the family over to taste my efforts at recreating the dishes, so here goes!”

“Jirapan welcomed us into her lovely home and taught us how to make three amazing Thai dishes. My daughter and I thoroughy enjoyed the cooking experience and have even successfully made the dishes at home. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in Thai food.”

“Highly recommend this course if you are a lover of thai food and want to know how it is made. The location of the class was at the teacher's home so was a wonderful homely environment where you were comfortable enough to ask questions and see how thai food can be made at home.”

“Absolutely fantastic day! The whole experience was just perfect and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Juripan was a brilliant teacher, who explained every dish methodically which helped us to remember each element. She is extremely lovely and her food is absolute wonderful. One of the best days I've had!”
