“Paul is Ronseal - does what it says on the tin for a fair price. Plus he is entertaining company, more than happy to fix any glitches - one of my magnetic closures was a smigden out of line - and generally an all round top bloke. The team in the office are helpful, cheery and efficient. Good service all round with no pressure (Hilary's take note!)”

“We have recently had shutters fitted to the bay window in our kitchen by Paul James and are very happy with the end result. The quality of the shutters is good and the standard of the installation is excellent, very well finished off. Long lead time for delivery but worth the wait. Thanks”

“Recently had shutters fitted and after a long wait (no fault of company) we were delighted with the end product. Found Paul James blinds to be polite, helpful and courteous. They fitted the blinds extremely well and were very clean and tidy in our home.... Thanks... One happy customer!”

“The company was fairly good although I found that I had to chase on several occasions for updates with when the blinds would be ready. The products are fairly good although expensive for what they are. You can get exactly the same quality of blind for half the price if you order online. Fitting was good but again you are paying a premium for this.”

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to review our service. We're pleased to hear that you are happy with your new blinds, but were disappointed to see the score you've given. We would like to note that your blinds were ordered after the Christmas cut off date and the blinds were received within the lead times quoted. We also fitted at the first possible opportunity for both yourself and us. We would add that whilst blinds can be bought online, this requires the customer to measure and fit the blinds on their own with minimal support. Our blinds are carefully made to measure and our service ensures that your blinds are measured and expertly fitted first time, taking the hassle out of fitting. “The service following the order was diabolical. No communication. We contacted them three times before they informed us it would be at least a further two /three weeks before the items we ordered came in, then we would still have to wait to have them fitted. Their excuse was that they were unable to get hold of the supplier. Then we suggest you change your supplier if they are that difficult to reach. Your biggest failing was ignoring the customer by not keeping them informed. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR COMPANY.”

“We had blinds fitted by this company about 5 years ago at a cost of £3000. From the beginning we have had nothing but trouble with them. The company has been reluctant to deal with the problem as they were wrongly fitted from the start. The Roman blinds were fitted far too closely to the windows and handles. They were not fitted squarely.They have now refused to engage with us to refit (which we are willing to pay for ourselves). We have contacted another company to remedy the situation it will ill cost us a further £1250 to put right the issues. We are very reluctant to leave poor reviews to any establishment but the service and aftercare we received has been awful. They are unwilling to enter into dialogue with us and we made them aware from the beginning to our concerns. They have been back to us a number of times without putting the problem right.”
