“I ordered and paid a deposit on shutters in August 2020. I was told the shutters would be fitted by the end of October, at the end of October I contacted the company to be told the shutters would be here end of November, end of Nov chased company to be told by shutters by Christmas, maybe early Jan 2021. Again contacted company end of January and told the Shutters were still on a ship from China that would be docking the first or second Monday in February and the company would call me with an update.
First and second Monday been and gone, no update and no answer from company. Never any updates from company unless chased, never given correct information!!.
Would now like my deposit back after almost six months of waiting but no reply? At the moment company does not even deserve the one star.”
“Paul came to measure, found him to be professional, courteous. The ordering process was without issues and also the fitting of our blinds in the kitchen and conservatory was to a very good standard by Andy the fitter. Even though a blind was not right for one of our doors, Paul James went above and beyond to ensure we had one that fitted properly, Andy called to remeasure as the first blind was made wrong size by workshop. During this process we had a new door fitted so the second blind had to be exchanged for a third to fit the new door. It was a good timescale from appointment to finish of fitting. Paul James offered us an exceptional service, we would not hesitate to recommend them. Andy is excellent fitter. Good service all round.”
“The service following the order was diabolical. No communication. We contacted them three times before they informed us it would be at least a further two /three weeks before the items we ordered came in, then we would still have to wait to have them fitted. Their excuse was that they were unable to get hold of the supplier. Then we suggest you change your supplier if they are that difficult to reach. Your biggest failing was ignoring the customer by not keeping them informed. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR COMPANY.”
“The company was fairly good although I found that I had to chase on several occasions for updates with when the blinds would be ready. The products are fairly good although expensive for what they are. You can get exactly the same quality of blind for half the price if you order online. Fitting was good but again you are paying a premium for this.”

We would add that whilst blinds can be bought online, this requires the customer to measure and fit the blinds on their own with minimal support. “Hi they did our new house two years perfectly & we recently wanted some additional work done & we ordered 4 blinds for our roof windows.
They did nothing but mess us around since ordering them in May & it’s September now.
We couldn’t get a fitting date due to there van being broken down.
We put up with the first excuse but when we complained a second time Paul James couldn’t have been more rude in just saying have your money back!!
We have just got that back after chasing them for it.

I was promised they'd reduce the glare on my computer screen- THEY DO.
Promised no plastic components - all beautifully smooth metal- TICK
Promised COMPLETE control on the light levels in my room- It's fun to adjust them.
The happy surprise is how gorgeous they are, never expected a horizontal blind to be a feature. I haven't closed the curtains since the VISIONS were fitted. The website photos don't do them justice. I was a bit worried about gold and silver , but once up they are calming and neutral; creams, greys, beiges; and the window looks longer with the horizontal lines . Worth every penny. I smile every time I glance up . THANK YOU.”
“Friendly staff member came out within a couple of days of my phone call, measured up and gave me an immediate quote for the blinds in the type and colour I wanted there was also no problem in giving me a comparison quote as I was undecided on 2 styles and no pressure to make a decision there and then. I was then left to decide (No hard sell or follow up) and called in by phone to place my order and was only asked to pay a deposit, the blinds were then made to measure and then Paul himself came to fit within a fortnight on a day and time to suit me.
At the same time as fitting/drilling was taking place the hoover was on to make sure no mess was made at all and all packaging was taken away when he left. Final payment was taken after fitting and making sure I was happy. All together a great service that I would definitely recommend to others.”
