“I book a collection on Friday for the following Wednesday, so plenty on notice. Cleared my diary for Wednesday but nobody arrived and no communication. Used online chat next morning and was told that a collection would definitely happen on Thursday. No more communication during during the day, I messaged at 4.30 for some reassurance as a third day at home was impossible, and finally picked up just before 5 - another whole day at home. The people I dealt with were great but the lack of communication and not attending at all means the service standard is way short of my expectations.”

Hi Roland, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused. Pallet collections can catch people off guard as they operate differently to what many are used to with standard courier services. With pallet networks, vehicles leave depots full with deliveries in the morning and return in the afternoon collecting goods - often close to the 5pm cut-off. Because of this setup, and the fact drivers prioritise deliveries first, we’re unable to offer ETA windows or live tracking, which understandably can be frustrating when you're waiting in. While over 95% of collections do go ahead as planned, issues can occur - especially around bank holidays or when freight levels spike beyond what a local depot can clear in one run. We have processes in place to monitor this and automatically follow up on any missed collections first thing the next morning, so in most cases, there’s no need to chase. I’m glad to hear our team were helpful when you reached out, and we appreciate the feedback - it helps us highlight where the experience can feel unclear, especially when the network runs late in the day.
