“The lessons were not as good as expected, arts and architecture in specific was a HUGE disappointment, we didn't even get to touch a piece of paper during the workshop. I had the impression that some teachers were not qualified enough to do their job, as they were also collaged students from Oxford I felt like they weren't as engaged to the lesson as the ORA students. Some counselors were extremely rude at all times. Also, I felt like Ron wasn't principled enough with us students to be in his position. There is a handful of counselors that I really liked and would like to thank for being so considerate with our issues, especially Rachel, Izzie and Sophie (or Sofia, don't remember). Overall, the only good thing that I experienced out of this camp was the amount of worldwide friends that I made, whom I know will last a lifetime. But you can make friends anywhere, so I recommend enrolling your child in another summer program in Oxford, as there are much more to choose.”

“ORA was definitely an amazing experience! I took the Introduction to Medicine course and I learned so much, as I had an enthusiastic teacher! We were all so excited to learn it was a great experience. Outside the classrooms we all got along so quickly on the first day and by the end of the 2 weeks we didn't want to leave the family we made.”

“ORA was a great experience that made me happy because it helped me think about my future career as an engineer and the field I would like to specialize in. It also helped me to know the reason why I chose it and how it can help the environment, African countries in development, my country and generally people in need. I also liked it because it was challenging because I have not covered most of the things we were doing while other students did, then I had to do my best to be part of the best. The challenge was achieved because I got an A* and next time I'll do better. In general I had a great time at ORA (Lady Margaret Hall) which I hope will happen again. Thank you for giving me this chance to learn by travelling.”

“I met a lot of great people and therefore made many new and good friends. It was also a very positive experience as I was able to experience what university would be like. And of course the counsellors were great too, big shout out to Kieran for the night of the party!! I was very happy I went to this course as it benefitted me very well and I was able to meet many great friends!!!”

“It was just an amazing experience! Since the first moment I arrived at ORA college, everyone was friendly, nice and ready to help the students with whatever they needed. The accommodation was perfect (comfortable rooms in historic locations), as well as the content of lessons was university quality, deeply interesting and challenging. Most importantly, the people I met gave me the chance to debate with different opinions and learn how to fully respect them, in a time when different political views are getting more distant and thus less respectful. My stay in Oxford also made me thinking of studying abroad for university. I do recommend it to anyone who wants to broaden his horizons!”

“ORA helped me discover subjects that are not available in my school and therefore proved to be extremely helpful for my discovery of possible university subject to study. The course did not leave us one second to be bored as there was always the opportunity to do fun and exciting activities and the excursions that were organised were truly amazing experiences. Unforgettable experience.”
