Amazing experience. The best place to meet people from all over the world, people with different interests and experiences and, of course, learn something

This experience that I had was unbelievable I met so many new people from all over the world and I really gained a better academic range of my abilities. All the staff were really fun and the teachers were truely passionate about their fields and I learnt a lot over the 2 week period that I attended Oxford Royale Academy and I will definitely recommend this amazing program to my friends and classmates.

It was an unforgettable experience. Two weeks full of joy and new experiences. During the day we had classes, that were very interesting and activities like punting and life skills. Also, my course, international medical research and practice, had trips to London, specifically to King’s College, where we were doing our practical classes. The state of the art lab in combination with our professor and my classmates, made those trips really special.

Good facilities and surroundings. Unfortunately the academics did not live up to the expectations.

Oxford Royale Academy was an experience that really broadened my horizon. I was given the chance to meet new students from all around the world, learn many interesting subjects and attend fascinating activities. Most important of all İ had very much fun. The counselors and staff who helped us stayed very kind and especially fun at all times. Overall the facilities, staff, lessons and activities were very good and exceeded my expectations.

Oxford Royale Academy has provided me with an experience I will never forget. Helping me meet new life lasting friendships with many across the world and the same country, teaching me many new materials that were interesting and beneficial for my learning and provided activities both social and physical for a fun. experience. The counsellors were amazing, really nice and welcoming. They were fun, helped with assignments given and included everyone when they could. The program was run well. the courses I took had great teachers who had the time if I had any questions.

Dear ORA, The Oxford Royale Academy was an experience which I shall cherish for a lifetime. This is primarily due the program enabling myself to picture a clear direction for the near future. The quality of learning was exceptional and the relationships formed will last a lifetime. I am looking forward to pursuing my studies in business further and will hopefully return in the coming years. Kind regards, Luke Andrews

It is nearly impossible to phrase this life changing experience, my summer in ORA, in a concise description. During the 2 weeks that flew by, I had the opportunity to grow not only academically but as a person. I met amazing people in and outside of the classroom which have provided me with memories that I shall remember and cherish for the rest of my life. I arrived there excited and left a new person, so happy for everything I had acquired, from knowledge to new friendships, yet so sad to be leaving it all behind. I can say that I was definitely not disappointed with what I lived during the time I spent there and would undoubtedly recommend it to any teenager willing to have the time of their life.

When I came to Oxford I hoped I was going to have a great time. Not only did this hope come true, but the experience I have had in my two weeks in Oxford was also challenging, fulfilling and extremely instructive. The campus I lived on was beautiful and the people I met were brilliant. The friends I have made from all over the world are ones that I will stay in contact with for many years to come. The lessons I have learned were of immense value to me and have inspired me to continue along the academic path I want to take. Over the time period of my course I have grown in a way I could not have grown if I had not come to ORA. So I advice everyone who considers applying to an ORA-course to take this opportunity and do it. There is so much waiting for you.

My experience with Oxford Royale Academy (broadening horizons) gave me the opportunity to meet awesome people, make new friends and best friends but also to learn new studying methods. I discovered different points of view, and several cultures. The city of Oxford is a wonderful city for students with a lot of history and monuments, and great things to do with friends. I loved the perfect organization and I felt secure with ORA’s system and staff. Everyone (the staff) is happy, cool and friendly. At the end of the summer course, I felt like the two weeks were really short.

I took part in the Preparation for Medicine course at St Catharine's College, Cambridge this summer and could not recommend it strongly enough for students, particularly those interested in pursuing medicine as an undergraduate degree in university! The emphasis in the first week of the course on BMAT/UKCAT practice (required for applications to UK medical schools), as well as on writing a UCAS personal statement, served as good exposure for those of us unfamiliar with these tests. In the second week, the opportunity to visit the Clinical Skills Centre in King's College London was particularly enlightening and interesting, as we had the opportunity to try out practical skills, such as CPR, cannulation and basic suturing, which are often required to be carried out by doctors. In addition, we also got to dissect a lamb's heart and learnt about basic anatomy, including the nervous system and testing for reflexes. Our teacher (Esumary), a current medical school student, was also knowledgeable, encouraging, friendly and patient with our class. Overall, I feel that the course served as great preparation for medical school, and was very interesting and informative on both the human body/medicine as well as the actual university application process, and I would therefore recommend it even for those who perhaps have interest in the field but do not necessarily want to become doctors.

I did the 2018 Broadening Horizons Course through Oxford Royale Academy from 1st-14th July, and it was one of the best trips of my life! It was amazing to meet people from all across the world- from different cultures and backgrounds- and to share the experience with the numerous friends I made. The lessons were very interesting and the classroom environment was fun and relaxed. Activities such as punting and watching Mamma Mia in London made this trip unforgettable. Furthermore, the amazing ORA counsellors made this trip ten times as exciting, especially the counsellors at Queen's College. They really took care of us and made us feel right at home. By the end of the two weeks, we were all dreading going back home and wished that the trip could go on forever! I would recommend this trip to anyone who is considering applying- you will definitely not regret it.

Coming to Oxford Royale this summer was an experience I'll never forget. It allowed me to broaden my horizons; not just within the classroom, where I studied subjects I wouldn't be able to at school, but also in a social context. I met people from all over the world, and got to know more about different countries, cultures and religions, truly allowing me to get a taste of many places that I haven't yet had the chance to visit yet. While I learned a lot in my classes at ORA and loved my teachers and the life they brought to the classroom, they surprisingly weren't the most important part of my 2 weeks at Oxford, as I'd expected them to be. What now matters to me are the friendships I've forged over the last 2 weeks, the Queen's College campus I've come to adore and the city that is Oxford in general; Oxford is a place I've grown to love and is a place I would return to in a heartbeat, and I will most certainly be back if not next year, in the very near future.

As this was my first time in Oxford. I really had enjoyed the college life over there and the activities been held. I also loved how everyone was there for help when needed. I loved it so much that I would recommend it to my friends as well.

Oxford Royale Academy was for me the experience of a lifetime. The courses that I took inspired new interest in my academic pursuits and I have had my eyes opened to another world of opportunity. Many people that you meet at ORA are highly intelligent, capable and pleasant individuals that push you to your limits, true to the saying, "Iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another". I wish that I had the opportunity to attend ORA again and when there, wished that I could just stay one more day.
