Engineer was not able to repair as you don’t deal with this specific kind of fridge even though I specified on order form that it is an F&P under counter integrated fridge. So very disappointed and your website should be clearer that you are very specific about what you can / can’t repair.

The guy said we needed a new part and now he won’t respond to our messages to let us know what the name of the new part is. Total waste of £75.

Extraordinarily rude operative. He was not interested in hearing what the problem was on the phone. All he kept saying was £80 diagnostic plus parts phone if your interested and hung up. Third rate company...STAY AWAY.

Atrocious. Was told by the engineer that he didn’t have the part, even though I specifically said on the form what the problem was, then he told me that I’d be charged extra for him to order it and come and fix my oven the next day. THEN I tried to contact your customer services to complain and there was no one answering the phone. All this and he was 4hours late. Ridiculous.

Hi Miss Domini Finch, Many thanks for your review. It would be good to provide the model number of the cooker in the booking before complaining about engineer not having the correct parts with him. We informed you that the Enginner will be late and your partner said that is fine if he can make it today. For the charge, we haven’t charge you anything and you didn’t paid the call out and told the Enginner that you get paid next week and don’t want to repair it now. Regards
The repairer was pretty angry and rude and implied that he had been callled out for no good reason. We have not used the machine for weeks and he switched it on and it works. However last time this happened the machine didnt work thereafter. It may be our mistake but he was there for 10 mins and we were charged the full amount so why was he complaining?

The repair man was really nice and helpful, however my freezer was so packed with ice he couldn’t do the repair. The issue I have is that I warned the office of this a couple of times. In order to ensure they were aware how bad the ice was as I am not prepared to pay a call out charge if they couldn’t do the repair. They assured me it was fine and in actual fact it was as I thought and he couldn’t do any diagnosis because of the volume of ice. I’m not going to pay a charge for something I already suspected and warned the person I booked it with about.

Hi Angela, You told us there are some ice at the back of the fridge and what the engineer sent us is completely different. The photos can be seen from this link: https://prnt.sc/w0huon https://prnt.sc/w0hvfi Also you might want to pay the callout charge before writing a negative review.
Booked a next day repair. They called the following morning to apologise they couldn't attend as their engineer was sick. Rebooked for a day later between 12.00-14:00. Engineer called at 13:29 to say was running late. Message at 15:42 will arrive in 12 minutes. Never turned up.

Engineer very pleasant, unfortunately person who took my call yesterday hadnt a clue what they were talking about. £48 for someone looking at my oven to inform me yes hinge was defective which i told them myself over the phone yesterday, but we dont carry those parts. What a waste if time and money.

Dreadful customer service - no responses to phone messages (except "I'll call you back in five minutes" which never happened), emails or online booking requests. Maybe you've gone out of business...

The outcome may be correct - we have to replace our oven - but there's no customer service. Had to call them three times, told to look for my own parts. I would not recommend.

We checked your Falcon cooker on 23 Oct 2020, The engineer checked the cooker and explained to you the fault and the part it required. Due to the age of the cooker, the part is no longer available and even Falcon no longer make them, we told you at the time of the engineer visit and each time you called.
I tried to call you on Monday but the phones were not working. So I emailed to cancel my appointment. The engineer called me this morning and I explained that I had cancelled my appointment. Nobody had told him that it was cancelled.

Hi Fiona, Many thanks for your negative review. We didn't receive any calls, emails or voicemail from you regards cancelation. The engineer called you ahead of the visit and you told him that you want to cancel the job which we did. This is the email and mobile number that we have on the job: fifimcgregor@sky.com / 07947734080 and didn't get any calls or emails from them. regards, North London Appliances
Booked repair on Sunday all looked good for 10_13 on following Tuesday but got a call at 10 am saying engineer sick took day off work dissapointing that seem very good at first but sadly let me down

Customer service from North London Appliance Repairs was appalling. I received emails and texts stating that an engineer would arrive between 12 and 2 pm and I would receive a call an hour before. I received a call from an unknown number at 9:49 am, missed it, received no voicemail or text and called back three minutes later that went straight to voicemail. Without knowing the context of the phone number, I did not leave a message. I received an email at 9:56 am stating that an engineer was going to arrive in 19 minutes and if that was not suitable to call and re-schedule. I took no action and received no indication that anyone arrived at my home. Miraculously at 10:29 am, I received an email stating "Your Appliancentre Repair Service has been completed." which is how I have a link to leave a review. No service was completed. I waited between 12 and 2 pm, calling the number and leaving a voicemail at 1:30 pm asking for a call back, which was not received. I contacted my landlord who booked this service after 2 pm, to which I missed a call at 2:51 pm from North London Appliance Repairs and returned 7 minutes later. No apology or explanation was given as to why the engineer did not call back or visit at the determined time. The person answering the call was rude and condescending and treated me like it was my fault the engineer did not show up. He cancelled the return appointment on me and hung up. Terrible service I would not recommend to anyone.

I paid £120.00 for an engineer to visit my home on the 16/10/20 to look at my Miele gas hob. The issue was that out of the 5 gas rings only 3 of them were working. The engineer informed me that he needed to order parts in order to come back and fix the problem and that Appliancentre would be in touch over the next few days to let me know a) the cost of parts and b) when someone would be able to come back to finish the job. I didn’t hear anything further and so on the 21/10/20 I called the main office number and got put through to someone who told me that they would look into this for me and would call me back within the next few hours with an update. I never received a phone call. I called back again at 5.30pm on the same day to be told that everyone had gone home and that they would write a note for someone to call me the following morning. Again, I didn’t hear anything back. I called again on the 22/10/20 in the morning and spoke to a very rude person who shouted, ‘we are trying to find you the part and we can’t locate it and the repair engineer is also looking for it, as you are in such a hurry why don’t you look for it yourself directly’? As you can imagine, I was slightly taken back by his aggressive and abrupt nature and so I asked for him to email me the name of the parts that I needed to order. He informed me that he was going to do this shortly. Three hours passed and I had not received an email so again I called up to ask for this email and the following email attached was sent to me. The email clearly stated that they had managed to locate a part in Ireland so I was confused to why they didn’t order the part from the link sent? So again, I called up to ask the question and again the aggressive and rude man exclaimed ‘they don’t deliver to the UK’ and told me to find the part myself. How was I supposed to know this piece of information from the email sent to me? At this point, I was so disgusted with how I had been treated and spoken to that I called up and asked to speak to management. The man simply said ‘no’ and put the phone down on me. This happened twice. What kind of customer service treats and speaks to their paying customers in this manner? How can this be okay when I have paid for a service for £120 and then for it not to be rectified? Furthermore, why is it my responsibility as the customer to find the replacement parts? I have now emailed the your customer service team on the 23/10/20 requesting a full refund and if I do not hear back within 14 days, I will submit a court claim based on the above information. I really don’t want to have to go down this route but I feel like I have been robbed and not given a full service that I paid for. I equally am disgusted with how I have been treated by their team. Would not recommend.

Hi Mrs Anouska Hazan, We are sorry to learn of your experience with Appliancentre. We sent an engineer on Friday 16.10.2020 at 2-4 to check a Faulty Miele gas hob, the engineer checked the hob and explained that we are going to order the parts and return to install them and it would normally takes between 2 to 4 working days based on availability. You called on Monday to check if the part has arrived and we told you that we don't order parts on weekends! and we will check for the part and get back to you. The part wasn't available to order and we could find it from one supplier in Ireland which we emailed you with the details of the part and even the link to the website we find the part from in Ireland. As we couldn't find the part we agreed to refund the payment minus our standard diagnostic charge which is £48 (£40 +VAT) This is mentioned in our Terms & Conditions under the heading "ISSUES THAT MAY ARISE DURING YOUR REPAIR". (Where we cannot obtain spare parts from our suppliers to repair your appliance, we reserve the right not to fix your machine. Under such circumstances, we will only charge the diagnostic / administration fee, which is £40 excluding VAT. ) Also we do not offer full refunds so you don't write us negative reviews. We value the honest feedback of our customers, using a third party ensures there is no bias, editing or fake reviews. Kind Regards North London Appliance Repairs
I contacted this firm to repair my oven and an engineer was sent. The engineer only spent about 10 minutes having a surface look at the oven but promised to come back to me with recommended spare parts and costs to repair, but noted replacement may be more cost effective. I followed up the next day for an update and left a message which was not returned. I followed up the next day and again a promised return call was not received. I called again and finally was told that I had to replace the oven. I formally complained about not meeting expectation provided by engineer and received email to say he did look at the oven and suggested a part to repair, which was not true from the earlier call. I complained and asked for a refund and was told I could have a part refund due to not being able to refer. I did not accept this and am still awaiting a full refund. Please note I arranged for an engineer from another company to come visit who found a minor fault and he is obtaining spare parts and undertaking a repair. The company has been rude and unhelpful at every stage and has no concept of customer service. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend at all. I think it is just a ruse to try sell a new appliance and they don't have competent repair engineers.

I hate to give 1 out of 5. Why is '0' not an option? Absolutely TERRIBLE service. Strongly advise anyone AGAINST using these people. Here's what they do. - Arrive (3rd time lucky). 1st time - did not book the appointment in their systems. 2nd time - did not arrive in their 10-12pm allocated slot so decided to turn up 2 hours later after no contact, when I was not in. - On arrival, they look at the appliance to be repaired. Comment on something totally irrelevant that does not need fixing, but tell you it 'really needs fixing' and then charge you for it. - Can't repair appliance which is to be repaired because they 'can't undo the screws'... which apparently is a 'common problem'. This means that they will 'have to come back again to sort the problem (another cost) and order spare parts'. - If it is such a 'common problem' - why don't you have the parts in your van, which is essentially your selling point on your website? - Charge you for 2 'call outs' from looking at 2 appliances and fixing NONE of the problems - surely a call out is a fixed cost?! Oh, then add VAT as well. I called up to make a rational and formal complaint, to which the angry guy at the other end of the phone HUNG UP on me, after trying to fob me off with some irrelevant excuse. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Unreliable and extremely rude, don’t waste your time with this company

Cannot believe how rude and unhelpful they are. Called them out for dishwasher repair, after barely looking at it was told to old to bother repairing and should buy a new one (got charged £48 call out fee). When I called to try to buy a dishwasher they were rude and abrupt, started having another conversation while on the phone then hung up on me. Do not use them!

I called an engineer out last week to fix my fridge that was bleeping & temp inside wasn’t right, engineer arrived, before he even saw the fridge, he diagnosed either Gas or motor, said these are usual problems. Moved the fridge to look at the back and said the vent needed cleaning, cleaned it and left after being paid. Problem not resolved, I’ve left several messages and no response.
