“Im happy with the product. It's now installed and works very well. Not so happy about the delivery charge. I live an hour away and had to pay £65 for a large EMPTY lorry aside from my consignment. That was a 3rd of the bill.”

“Very helpful advice from the Nidagravel team about specifications. I did the ground prep work as advised and laid 84m2 of Nidagravel 130 and backfilled with 10mm Yorkshire cream gravel. This has made for a really solid drive . Couple of things that helped. Firstly my drive slopes up from a rough farm track so I installed some rubber ramps as a stop to avoid the gravel migrating onto the farm track. Secondly I had a fiddly drain cover to work round - the grids actually cut pretty easily with some heavy duty scissors for a neat fit.”

Unfortunately, the cut-off point for shipping orders before we closed for our annual 2-week Factory Shutdown had been reached. We always ensure that pallet deliveries are scheduled for delivery before we close so that the team are on hand to resolve any delivery issues should they arrive.

“Product ordered was delivered in good time and I damaged. I have installed the grid on a slight slope and it holds the gravel exactly where it should stay. A good size and easy to install. I would recommend this for any gravel area where you want to limit gravel movement.”

“Good afternoon David. Nidagravel was very good, it was Palletline that let the delivery down. I rang James to ask where my delivery was and he said it had been delivered, I said not to my house it hasn't, I did check again. Apparantly it had been delivered to 14, Bairstow Mount instead of 14, Overdale Mount, we are next to each other. As it happened it was a friend of mine at that house, and with a good sense of humour we delivered it ourselves to our house. This was relayed to James, who was very helpful, with photos, see attached. James arranged for the delivery charge to be refunded, thank you James, and I bought a few beers for Keith who when he got home wondered why he was having to crawl under his fence, good job he was able to, because of a large pallet blocking his path. The silly thing is I gave, the address, post code, what3words and a good description of where to leave the pallet. It worked out OK as it was a pleasent evening and we all had a laugh about it. “I have installed the grid and I am delighted with it. This sloping gravelled drive has been a problem since 1904 when the house was completed. It had a hump, where people had raked back the gravel from the gates over the years and consequently, a fearsome gradient beyond which cars slid down in the snow. I have lived here for over 30 years and had given up on the drive. You will see from one of the photographs that it had come to resemble a farm track. I have done a lot of DIY work over the years but even so, this project was not only really easy, but quite enjoyable. I re-levelled the drive so that the steepest gradient is 1 in 8 (12%). I spread out a couple of 800kg bags of coarse grit and used a hired wacker plate compactor. Assembly of the grids was really easy. The gravel has not moved at all. It is lovely to walk on, a pleasant but firm crunch, quite unlike the sensation of ploughing through ordinary loose gravel. There have been a few blades of grass that have risen from through the gravel but they can be pulled out, roots and all with a finger and thumb. My neighbour across the road said that I must have put £30,000 on the value of the house. I do not care about that; I just keep looking at the drive and taking delight in the transformation. Of all the DIY jobs that I have done this has been the most satisfying. Nidagravel is superb. Thank you.”

“Really pleased with these gravel grids! Easy to put down and cut for size, certainly robust without being damaged by shoes or wheelbarrow wheel. And has a firm feel to walk on with the gravel 15mm over the top of the grid. I would definitely use these again.”
