“This is functionality that the document vendors should offer. When they do, it still doesn't stack up to what NXPowerLite can do. End users can't tell the difference.”

“I am a graphic designer, I purchased NXPowerLite desktop to reduce large file sizes on my portfolio PDFs. It reduces them on average, by 50% with no visible loss in quality. In my opinion, great value for money!”

Hi Wu Thank you for leaving a review for NXPowerLite Desktop today. The performance of NXPowerLite depends upon the content of the file you are optimising. NXPowerLite reduces the size of files by removing any ‘excess baggage’ and converting embedded graphics to the most appropriate file format and resolution. This is done by re-sizing and cropping images, compressing JPEGs and flattening embedded objects, amongst other functions. As a result it is not possible to specify the size of the compressed file in advance, however you can adjust your NXPowerLite settings to achieve greater compression. To adjust your settings, select 'Custom' from the 'Optimize Profile' drop-down then clicking the 'Settings' button to see the settings available. “Boost your office work productivity in communicating big size files by email. Powerpoint presentations are great since you can include pictures w/o special format so at the end you just compress it in one single shot! Good tool to have. Best Regards”

“I can highly recommend Neuxpower to compress very large Word documents with extensive graphics. I've found the documents compress better than PDF converters, and moreover, the documents can be edited in track changes.”

“Hi I need to reduce pdf files from around 36kmb to email them. With Neuxpower I can get them down to under 5kmb and have no problems sending them out. It makes a lot easier. Thanks Michael”

“I have been using NXPowerlite Desktop for a good number of years. We regularly run seminars and upload the presentations to our website. Before sharing these presentations we always slim them down with NXPowerlite, often with huge savings of bandwidth. We had version 6 installed and decided to move on to version 7 because we realised that some Powerpoint presentations in the latest version could no longer be optimized.”

“I frequently need to compress documents, jpegs and Powerpoint slideshows and send them by e-mail. My local ISP has a 10 MB limit. I have no PP shows that are less than that, most of them are in the 140 MB range. NXP is ALWAYS able to reduce the gigantic bloat of Microsoft and Adobe files to something manageable. Sometimes the reductions are as much as 97%! This is an invaluable tool, and one feature of the latest upgrade stands out. Right–clicking on a file in Mac Finder gives the option of having NXP reduce the file or even produce an e-mail with the file reduced, right there in the moment. Truly, this is a great time and space saver.”

“Neuxpower has provided me with my go-to compression application on Windows and then Mac for at least 15 years. I was sold when I could reduce data in PowerPoint decks without losing resolution or ability to further edit. An amazing tool that has grown in capability and breadth over the years.
