“I discovered Neuxpower back in 2011 and installed it on another computer, so I was confident I'd want on my new computer, as well. One of my hobbies is producing travel albums that I share with family and friends. With all of the pictures they include the file size invariably exceed the maximum allowed in an email. You product shrinks them down with only a modest loss of picture quality and it is and has been a critical to enabling my goal of sharing my albums.”

“I cannot send big files through the university email system, but my Powerpoint presentations with lots of pictures became incredibly small after being compressed, and could then be sent. I have been using PowerLite for years but had lost my licence information so bought a new copy. I had forgotten just how powerful it is and just as easy to use as ever. Highly recommended, thanks.”

“The wide format color scanner in our office creates insanely large file sizes that cannot be emailed. NXPower Lite has resulted in file size reductions up to 98% of the original file size. Well worth the price for the results. I no longer need to set up ftp sites to send engineering plan sets.”

“Amazing product, we had a 467mb file with photographs and Neuxpower condensed it down to 4mb ... I we can't tell the difference in the quality. Absolutely amazing ...”

“Absolutely great app if you work on a lot of presentations. I've been using it for years. Smooth and easy to use. Trims down PowerPoint files significantly especially if you use a lot of images in your work. And what's remarkable is that the light version does not pixelate your images too much. Used it both on mac and Windows. Works well on both platforms.”

“Our engineers make large files of manufacturing methods and tooling which can often contain sketches, blueprints and/or pictures. 100MB files are not uncommon. No way those are going thru Exchange, so if an engineer has to email it home to work on, s/he can 'compress' it down to less than half it's original size. Also, downloading those files to the machines, usually slower computers, is faster and less demanding of resources.”

“Social Responsibility to Reduce Energy Consumption and thus Minimise Data Size. I would be interested in your comments as I may have it wrong - it is said that digital networks are using 10% of the world’s power supply and especially with increased use of the cloud this is likely to increase. A significant part of the energy must be used in transferring and storing unnecessarily large files and emphasis/education must be given to reducing file sizes whenever possible. Which is why I value NXPowerLite – often reducing graphics I have been sent by 95% of a quality which could be projected onto a building but intended for a laptop screen. Is it not a matter of education to emphasise the need to keep files as small as possible to minimise the use of energy? (Before going on to tackle the vast numbers of massive files residing in the cloud which are possibly never likely to be accessed?) Hugh@Dibley.eu.com”

Hi Hugh, you are correct, we as digital consumers have ever increasing power consumption overheads. I do recall we produced some article/blog posts a few years back with some numbers (i think). Unfortunately, we didn't find the pain point/reason for searching for something like NXPowerLite was the environment. If a symptom of people trying to save space/money/time with our product is a lower impact on our resources then all the better. We appreciate your comments and remember to lobby your government to make NXPowerLite mandatory ;) James, Customer Success Team

“I couldn't manage without NXPowerlite. Both sending documents and storing them would be a nightmare if everything had to be full size. It saves using clouds and drop boxes and the like and just makes life easier”

“Love using this App. So many of my files are sent via e-mail to clients and most of them are decks with color images which create large size files. I also use a lot of pdf files, which also tend to be large sizes. Just drag to the NXPowerlite and they are compressed very quickly with the same quality. I also like the fact that I can set up various automated ways to save the optimized files.”

“I cannot imagine to work without this great tool, after finalizing my visit reports always completed with many pictures made during site inspections, or after preparing my lectures haing many power point slides, all converted into .pdf. files and before sending it out by E-Mail, the reduced capacity makes it easy to forward it to all the end-users.
