“It works fine expept PowerPoint which I had to convert each time to the older version - ppt I've tried both NXPowerLite and WeCompress ... and I noticed that WeCompress did better job (better compression for pdf file - 80%)”

“Shrinking JPG works great. Resize images would be more useful when also an option to set your own size instead only pre-set sizes. Other options not used for the moment.”

Hello there, NXPowerLite does not resize JPEGs by default it keeps them in the original resolution but still manages to work its magic to compress the files by up to 60%! NXPowerLite does also include options to resize your JPEG files too, so you don't need to use other software. Just create yourself a custom profile and enable the option to resize in the JPEG tab and you'll be able to select a resolution to suit. Hope that helps! Andy, Customer Success Team

“Great piece of software that does exactly what it says on the tin. I have a Mac and struggled with the quality of docs that i resized using the native Quartz Filter process. No such problems with Neuxpower.”

“I just started using this App. It seems to work and definitely reduces tile size. Would like to have some user settings so I could select size/quality options. However it definitely reduces file sizes...... thanks”

“I am happy to endorse Neuxpower software and i'm perfectly satisfied with way in which it 'intervenes' to reduce file size in e-mails. With so many restrictions on e-mail size one needs a little help from time to time to get the bigger 'items' through safely - so yes Neuxpower is doing that job well.”

“Simple to use and great at what it does - make documents smaller. I've used it for many years and continue to find it valuable. I'd love it even more if it could do something with Keynote and other Apple format documents and automatically compress all files put a specific folder :) Great job folks - keep up the excellent work.”

“1. Please find something to automate reduction of more than 10000 files. Ex. do 2 x 10000 in background if you have problems doing 20000 at a time. 2. To treat a directory: not necessary to list all the files. Just show progress. 3. Bug: If I a choose a directory to compress and uncheck its subdirectories, the numbers of pdf files found are not correct. 4. Is there a command line possibility to start compression ? In that way it could be scheduled. Regards, Bernard”

Hi Bernard, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback for NXPowerLite, which is much appreciated. NXPowerLite Desktop is designed for small batches of files and integrates with email programs to compress outgoing attachments. It cannot be run from a command line. We have a server product which is designed for large batches of files and runs as a scheduled process with detailed reporting functions. If you are using NXPowerLite to compress files in large batches then this may be more suitable for your requirements, I recommend that you take a look at the information on NXPowerLite for File Servers here to see if it may better suit your needs: https://www.neuxpower.com/nxpowerlite-file-server/ We also have an option for watched folders, where files are automatically compressed as they are added to a particular location. With regard to point 3, I have raised a support case for this issue which has been referred to our development team for investigation. This will be investigated prior to the next major release. Hi Andreas, thank you for your feedback on NXPowerLite. The release of the German version of NXPowerLite Desktop 8 was unexpectedly delayed due to an issue that was identified upon the initial release of the new version. We had to temporarily disable support for languages other than English to ensure that the application could reliably in every language. We have been working hard to fix this and will be issuing a German-language version of NXPowerLite Desktop 8 this week. “Saves a lot of SSD Memory space and makes emailing files a lot easier. Would like to see NX PowerLite compress program exe files and after compressing remain executable similar to the program CompactGUI.”
