Don't use DPD and its affiliates, the worst courier service I have come across in my life. A 6-day delivery is taking months. very unreliable, can never deliver a service on time, let alone pick up a package on a nominated day, had to rebook the pickup, they provide false and misleading information.

Took money and accepted the job then started to indicate the driver was going to be late, after several different excuses I was then informed the driver had broken down and could not make it. Tip for the future - just tell the truth in the first place.

Hi Jane, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry you was not happy with the service you received from us. After reviewing your order there was a tight deadline between the time we would aim to collect and the time the company closed at the delivery. When receiving the booking we did make you aware that we could not guarantee a delivery pre 17:00 but would try out best. Due to the time of the day and the collection location we was limited to drivers in the area and kept you updated of this. We eventually managed to get a driver allocated to the order but it was still going to be close to the company close time for delivery, unfortunately on route to the collection the driver had an issue with his vehicle and was no longer able to carry on with the journey. We did inform you immediately of the breakdown and advise we are currently looking for a new driver but we was limited to drivers in the area and again we couldn't guarantee we would be able to get a driver that would meet the 17:00 deadline. At your request the order was cancelled and a full refund was issued, we would like to apologies for any inconveniences caused and we hope you will give us the opportunity to work together again in the future. Absolutely awful service. Collected on time which was all fine. Didn't scan any of the 69 labels i was provided to stick on the parcels. Arrived at the delivery destination which was luckily for me was only 10 mins away. The driver refused to do anything off load, watch, count the parcels or scan the parcels off the van. I had to drive to my (furious) customers to off load the parcels off the van myself whilst he sat in the drivers seat.

Hi, Thank you for your e-mail and your feedback regarding our service. As per our Terms & Condition which can be clearly viewed on our website. Also, when entering the customer portal, and at the bottom your order confirmation and at the bottom of each notification & e-mail sent to you. Our Terms and conditions state the following. 4.3 Unless the Carrier has otherwise agreed in writing with the Customer: 4.3.1 the Carrier shall not be required to provide any labour or special equipment for loading or unloading the Consignment, other than that carried by the vehicle used by the Carrier; and As there were 69 boxes this would be classed as manual labour and would have required a sack trolley. When the driver arrived at the delivery location, our contact centre called you to advise there was only 1 person at the delivery point and she was unable to off load the van. At this time, we advised that we could offer an off-loading/ handball facility, but this would incur an additional fee which you declined. At this point you advised that you will go down to the delivery and off-load the vehicle yourself. We have discussed with the driver that this was unacceptable behaviour and very unprofessional of him to have sat in the cab whilst you unloaded, whilst he wasn’t responsible or getting paid to offload the vehicle it would have been courteous of him to have offered his assistance to help. Regarding your query about the labels not being scanned, this was not a requirement on your delivery as these goods were going direct and not entering our warehouse or conveyor system. Please accept our apologies, we would love to put this right and change your view of Nationwide Courier Service. If you contact our office on your next order we are happy to give a 15% discount on your next order.

Why advertise a service, take people's money in full in advance, then phone them up and say you can't provide said service? What a waste of everyone's time.
