My elderly mother needed an hob extractor repaired. I called myappliances explaining the problem. I was informed an engineer would call at a cost of £108. Any required parts would be an extra charge. I agreed. The engineer duly arrived. He was at the property for less than 20 minutes telling me two parts would be required they would order the parts and he would return and fit the parts at no extra charge (except for the parts). I was subsequently contacted by myappliances to be told the parts for the extractor could not be replaced as they were no longer being made as the appliance is old. However I could search the internet myself to locate the items and they would fit the parts After spending several hours I couldn’t find the items. I called the company asking what my options were. I was told that the extractor would need replacing but they don’t fit new appliances I’ve ordered a new extractor at a cost just above the £108. The fitting was also cheap. I do feel myappliances have taken advantage of a situation. My elderly mother has been charged £108 for 20 minutes work nothing was done. My advice BE CAREFUL. Check how old the appliance is before you employ this company. If it’s old don’t bother buy a new one you will save yourself £108

My Appliances are a sale team, we would not under go any engineering work this is done by the third party service team we use nor would we arrange this, This isn’t the level of service we aim to provide. I would like to look into this matter further and see what we can do to resolve it for you. I have looked under the sales job and cannot see any Communication with yourself through My Appliances. Appalling service, new cooker hood ordered.. On day of delivery emailed middsy -ish to say item not available, why not check sooner !!

What a completely useless website and customer service. You advertise that delivery is available at the weekend - however having waited for 2 whole days with nothing arriving despite having paid a premium for this service I am advised that this isn’t what the company offers! I had ordered to arrive in time for my birthday but I didn’t arrive. I asked for next day delivery and even that couldn’t by guaranteed. Buy from somewhere else and definitely not here

Two failed attempts to deliver the oven I ordered, with the first being damaged in transit, then the second delivery failed claiming it was out of stock. So, after paying another £100 for a different oven delivery was arranged for a Friday, on the Wednesday I got a message from FedEx telling me delivery would be Thursday, I rejected this and rescheduled for Friday as originally planned; this delivery just failed to turn up and I only found out it had been rescheduled to the following Monday when I logged into track order. This was no good as I had disconnected and uninstalled my old oven. I placed an order with AO on the Friday at 13:00 and my new oven was up and running Saturday 13:45. I have used my Appliances several times before without a problem but will be extremely reluctant in future after this. Thankfully I am in a position where I can work from home, which I did on the 3 missed delivery dates dispite my preference for being in the office. I must also addd that as someone who has not always had the privilege of working from home my heart goes out to anyone messed around and using annual leave to wait needlessly for deliveries that never materialise. 3 times.

You took money of me when the cooker extractor wasn’t available another company forgetting it values took 2 weeks to get money back no apologies will never use you again and tell people you were very unprofessional

You have failed to respond to my concerns regarding a faulty bath mixer, despite stating that yor technical department would revert to me. Your customer services department are nort responding to emails. I will be contacting Consumer Rights.

Not a good product - the cast iron surface was defective meaning it burnt every time, no matter the temperature.

We're very sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like the surface may not have been properly seasoned, which is essential for getting the best results from cast iron. Even brand new griddles benefit from additional seasoning before first use. To season it at home, wash it with warm water and a little washing-up liquid, then dry it thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of high smoke point oil (such as rapeseed or flaxseed), wipe off any excess, and place it upside down in an oven at 230–260°C for an hour. Allow it to cool in the oven. Repeating this process 2–3 times can help build a stronger non-stick coating. Please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team so we can resolve this for you. Came broken. Last product i bought randomly shattered within 3 years. Poor products and wouldn't recommend. Poorly packaged too. I superglued parts back in rather than send back but I wouldn't recommend products from here. That's 2 poor products I've bought.

First 3 ovens arrived damaged 4th one last less than 1 year... it was replaced with no fuss hence the 1.star 5th one has now last less than 2 years with the same fault!! Both times the oven stops heating up.... Oven is innocenti... don't buy!!! My guess is these are all refurbished!!!

Booked a delivery slot 8 days after of placing the order. My partner waited in all day for the delivery which never arrived. I contacted the delivery company who had never been made aware of the agreed date. Cancelled the order and have since been in a battle with the company for a refund. No response to emails and no refund. I have raised a dispute via PayPal and am contacting the small claims court to pursue this refund. Avoid at all costs. They may be cheap but you don't get anything for your money

Take note, you get what you pay for. I've had 2 of their top of the range innocents ovens in 3 years. They take 25 minutes to reach operating temperature which according to my thermometer is 10 degrees hotter than the setting. Also the cooling fan never switches off, you have to knock the power off at the plug and leave it for a couple of hours before you switch it back on. The first ovens fan oven didn't work at all either. I've just ordered a new Bosch oven to replace this one as it's total garbage. Hope this review helps you in your choice.

Avoid avoid avoid!! Brought a ceramic hob from my appliances which recently stopped working, we had an electrician come and take the hob out to find that the connection box had all burnt away!! He said it’s lucky our house didn’t set on fire and that the hob was clearly faulty! Finally got a reply from my appliances, they completely fobbed me off blamed the electrician even tho the end that the electrician wired in was completely fine but the end that was attached to the hob(it arrived already attached to the hob) had all burnt away!! Shambles of a company, avoid at all costs!!

Do not use this company awful customer service , we purchased a wine fridge via a retailer in early 2020 which had a 2 year warranty in Aug 2021 they had to replace it with a brand new one after 3 engineer visits. The engineer basically swapped out PCB'S and hoped for the best. Now in May 2022 , 10 months after getting a brand new fridge that one has gone wrong and this terrible company have refused to honour the two year warranty on a 10 month old product as they say the warranty went from the delivery of the first fridge so it has now expired absolute con. So be warned bunch of sharks

DO NOT USE! Paid £15 delivery cost for 3 items (Cooker Hood, Carbon filter pack and Ducting Kit). Returned 2 items (Filter pack and Ducting Kit) as they were not needed in the end, and had to pay return cost myself. They then charged me £11.00 admin fee (£5.50 for each item returned!!!). There are much better companies out there that don't charge admin fees for returns. So I suggest you shop around and read the small print before spending your hard earned cash.

Appalling company - paid £39.99 for sat delivery - didn’t turn up. Reorganised with no decent explanation for the following Tuesday, didn’t turn up ! Eventually turned up on the Thursday. Ridiculous excuses of blaming others for it not arriving on the two occasions - let’s hope after reading the reviews unfortunately after purchasing that the oven works - will never use the company again - appalling customer service !!!
