In the future I will avoid applying to schools using your software. I have had two instant rejections and I believe that it is your application that is a fault. No feedback, terrible HR software!

I was disappointed to not receive any notification as to whether my recent application was successful. I assume I was unsuccessful, as the date of interview has passed. Applications take a considerable length of time, and even an automated reply would be appreciated more than silence!

I have applied for several roles through this agency, including: Teaching Assistant at All Saints Academy (Cheltenham) – after a phone conversation I was told other candidates had more experience. Welfare Officer at All Saints Academy – application rejected. Teaching Assistant at Pittville – received only a text saying I was unsuccessful after the interview, with no explanation. Supply Cover at All Saints Academy – still waiting to hear back. Despite having good qualifications (though limited direct experience), I found the process quite poor. Some of the jobs I applied for are still listed on the website, which is frustrating when there is no feedback or clear communication. Better transparency and timely updates would greatly improve the experience for candidates.

Absolutely sucks. Took so long to get a response/update only to not get the position in the end, like please, I'm a lunchtime supervisor, ain't much qualifications needed there

Very disappointed since the Deputy Head Teacher was not expecting me at that time for the interview so I lost a day of work and it was a disappointment and lack of respect on the part of the Deputy Head Teacher.

The site requires too much irrelevant information that is not pertinent to the job application eg it asked me for job history going back to high school.

I missed an opportunity to interview as I received contradicting information. I received an email to state that I have not been shortlisted due to the volume of applications. However, when I logged into my account I saw two messages from that very school asking if I will be attending the interview. I am perplexed at how there was such confusion of messages and really upset and annoyed at this lack of clarity of information.

I applied for a leadership post through MyNewTerm and was expecting a response as to whether I was shortlisted or not. Whatever the outcome, it would have been courteous and professional to inform me of the outcome. This did not happen. When I checked MyNewTerm Web page, there were no updates. I presume that the appointment would have already been made as the date has passed. This is not impressive. Will not be using this service again.

My experience with MyNewTerm has been overwhelmingly negative. The platform appears polished on the surface, but once you start using it seriously—especially for job applications—it quickly becomes clear that there's a serious lack of professionalism behind the scenes. The biggest issue is the total absence of communication. After submitting applications, you’re left in the dark. There's no acknowledgement of progress, no updates, and in many cases, not even the courtesy of a rejection. It feels like applications are just going into a black hole. It’s disheartening, especially when you've put time and effort into tailoring each submission. Even worse is the dismissive tone you sometimes encounter if you try to follow up. It's as if they expect candidates to chase endlessly with no guarantee of feedback or even basic respect. It really gives off the impression that applicants are not valued at all. Overall, MyNewTerm seems to lack transparency, professionalism, and basic applicant care. If you're looking for a platform that respects your time and effort, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
