“The site automatically put the wrong job as my last employment before a career gap making it look longer to my detriment. The site automatically lists employments by their start date, putting an insignificant temporary position as my last employment when there were more significant longstanding freelance entries that had been going on for a long time. If I had the choice I would not have used mynewterm to apply for the job. I only used itbased on this experience would only use it, because there was no other option. I complained to technical support at the time and I bet they still have not fixed the issue.”

“Absolutely pointless website and recruitment process. Even with a strong CV, no schools actually call you for an interview. No wonder our schools are in dire trouble and lack the right teachers. Talented people are clearly being pushed out, esp. if you're from a minority ethnic background.”

“I received an email the evening before an interview asking me to accept the invitation to interview (sure I had already done this). Confimed and attended the interview the following day to discover it had been postponed. Any chsmge of date or time should be highlighted and mentioned I the email or whrn signing in. To not so is negligent and I have, therefore a low opinion of your website. Incompetent, uninformative, unhelpful and I regret having been asked to register. Will unregister later. Thanks for the reminder.”

“For the older generation. Having to go back to school/exam results is not a good idea. It is not compulsory to enter your age when applying for other jobs. This is encouraging discrimination.”

“Respectfully, mynewterm is not user friendly and very rigid. I took ages too apply each time. It would be very useful to be able to memorize the last data (like TES does), instead of starting from scratch every time. I'm not going to apply for a job again if the school uses this platform.”

“Far too complicated. Lots of irrelevant questions. It was for an internal position but I was expected to give details of jobs and PAY from the last 40 years. Ridiculous!”
