“I was expecting to get the role!”

“The site automatically put the wrong job as my last employment before a career gap making it look longer to my detriment. The site automatically lists employments by their start date, putting an insignificant temporary position as my last employment when there were more significant longstanding freelance entries that had been going on for a long time. If I had the choice I would not have used mynewterm to apply for the job. I only used itbased on this experience would only use it, because there was no other option. I complained to technical support at the time and I bet they still have not fixed the issue.”

Our system automatically sorts the employment history by start dates as this works best for candidates. Thank you for your feedback, we will take this into consideration.

“MyNewTerm is ok as a website for job applications it’s good that it stores your previous data. My only recommendation is if there was an acceptance button when you received the job offer. The other thing I would add is the questions in the survey don’t match the service. Thanks K”

“I must say the whole interview process was positive, I felt valued and the interviewers made me feel welcome. Since the interview, the communication has been good. I feel a bit nervous about the onboarding/training week as I will have to juggle this with my main job, but im looking forward to starting, i hope the DBS and references go smoothly.”

“Absolutely pointless website and recruitment process. Even with a strong CV, no schools actually call you for an interview. No wonder our schools are in dire trouble and lack the right teachers. Talented people are clearly being pushed out, esp. if you're from a minority ethnic background.”

“Completing the application was very easy and great if you completed a second application. However, the wrong closing date was on the application as that was half term. I received an email off the school at 3:15 23/05 to attend an interview on the 24/05. Which to plan is very short notice, but I did attend the interview on the Friday 24/05 where there was me and another candidate, but was advised that there was going to be another two candidates for the interview in half term. I felt disappointed on why was this not offered to me and felt that it was an unfair interview process. It should have been that all candidates attended the same day and completed the same interview process.”
