“I am afraid I am not very satisfied for the two following reasons. Firstly, I ordered a battery for my MX5 to be delivered to an address in France. The delivery charge was reasonable but I had to pay £60 extra in import duty. Half the price of the battery! I know from your terms and conditions that duty "may" be payable, but I didn't expect such a steep bill. I think you should be more explicit about this charge in the case of an overseas sale, to warn customers how much they might end up paying. You obviously knew where the battery was being shipped to and are fully aware of charges applied on such transactions. Secondly the battery cut off switch (Dis-Car-Nect) does not fit the battery post of the Westco battery delivered at the same time. Impossible to tighten it up, so unusable. So as I say, I'm very disappointed as a returning customer. Until now I have been fully pleased with purchases made from you but now will think twice before ordering from you.”

We understand your feedback regarding tax charges, however, the customs charges are set by the country of destination so they are out of our control, unfortunately, but we of course don't charge VAT on your order.
