“Excellent experience: I bought a mohair hood with glass heated rear window, including fitting for my MK1 MX5. Arrived at MX5parts in Portsmouth / Southsea for 8.30am (drop off time) handed over the keys and walked along the coast to the Spinnakar tower, relaxed lunch on the wharf. Mid-morning I received a phone call to advise, a few additional necessary parts were needed to complete the hood installation to the required high standard. All the additional part options available were clearly explained including price. At around 3pm I received a call, the car now ready for collection. Whilst there, I took the oportunity to discuss with the sales team what else I might need for the rest of the cars' restoration and purchased some additional bits and peices. In addition to the hood purchased, I previously purchased suspension coil over kit, brake discs, pads, callipers and service parts, interior and body parts from MX5parts (always right and good quality). The car drove beautifully all the way from and back home to Surrey. Many thanks Andrew”

“Great website and lots of choice of parts. The only issue is the time it takes for items out of stock to become available - I guess this is the same all over but worth the mention (especially when we are talking the likes of engine oil, which I can get locally from Halfords if need be rather than bothering to order online/cancel etc).”

“Very helpful staff and not pushed into making a decision. Elected to buy the Eibach uprated spring set instead of a standard pair of springs as one had broken and glad I did as car now feels much better. Would definitely recommend.”
