I ordered a wooden marble run for a grandsons 4th birthday as he had such fun with his dads old plastic one. i was quite disappointed to receive a torn outer box and the inner box was split from one of the corners. There was no way I was giving this as a present. I asked for a refund of the cost and also of the postage that I paid ?5.99 for to ensure express delivery. This I have not received. Mulberry Bush says: "Very sorry your marble run arrived damaged. After you contacted us about this issue we processed your refund immediately, it should already be showing in your bank account? Please let us know if the refund hasn't come through and we can investigate. Sorry once again.

My granddaughter's birthday is December 21st. I asked for her present to be gift-wrapped. It was - but in Christmas paper, not birthday paper. Maybe there was a box I should have ticked to be specific. If not, there should be, for the sake of my granddaughter (who knows and values whose birthday Christmas is) as well as all the Muslims, Bahi's, Jews.... who may not wish to acknowldge Christmas. Mulberry Bush says: our policy with wrapping paper is to use birthday paper for the majority of the year and then Christmas paper in the run up to Christmas. This is our default position, which works for the vast majority of our customers - but you can specify the wrapping paper you prefer, as we state on our website (see Help page).

My order arrived a day late and the tracking made no sense at all. The parcel was loaded on a van, and then returned to the depot, but when I called Parcelforce they promised to look into it and call me back - and never did. Not Mulbery Bush's fault, I know, but this is not what I paid for! Mulberry Bush says: sorry for the inconvienience, we are sorry our courier was a day late and let you down on this occasion. Parcel Force, as one of our couriers, are one of the better courier services (see recent Which? Magazine report) - however obviously on this occasion their service was not good enough.

I live close to one of the main routes north, the A82, on the mainland. I do not want to be charged for delivery to the highlands or islands, which I think is appalling anyway, that residents in the British Isles are charged a premium because of where they live. Mulberry Bush says: "Thanks for your comments, which we shall feedback to Parcel Force, our courier. I'm afraid however that we are charged double by Parcel Force to areas including your own, described as Zone 2, Highlands and Islands - and as a small business we simply cannot absorb this cost. And to be honest, you are over 500 miles away from us and to expect free delivery given the cost of fuel nowadays is not realistic given the weight and size of most of the large wooden toys we send. Having said all that, we note that your order was below the threshold for free delivery for other parts of the UK so would not have been free anywhere - you were in fact therefore charged the same for delivery as every other part of the UK.

I'm not happy at all with your service. I have emailed several times asking for replacement items which were damaged on arrival and \I since asked for a refund because I am fed up of waiting for a response!!! Mulberry Bush says: "we are sorry that you were disappointed with our service. We have double checked our email system and we haven't received any emails from you. Please do give us a call (01403 790796) so we can help resolve this for you
