I purchased the 12 week fitness plan. It was the best purchase I ever made. Within the second week I noticed how much better my hill climbs were and on completion my body had toned up and I had lost body fat. My confidence on the bike was also better, even without coaching. I am hooked ! I have watched all Matts' you tube videos & really enjoy reading the daily emails. I even emailed Matt with a problem I was having and he got back to me within days with an answer. Needless to say I would 100% recommend Matts' expertise and programs. Thanks Matt !

Definitely enjoying the workouts, stretches, and overall guidance this app provides, there’s a lot of good content here and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the program. That said, I do think the actual workout flow could use some improvement. Right now it feels like I’m constantly stopping mid-set to check the app or tap around, which breaks up the rhythm. Other fitness apps I’ve used make it easier to just follow along with timers, transitions, and videos built right into the flow, so you’re not having to interact as much during the workout itself. Because of that, the experience can feel a bit tedious, especially having to jump in and out of what feels like individual video segments rather than a seamless session. For the monthly cost, I think a smoother, more guided workout experience would really elevate the app and make it feel more worth it. Overall, I like what’s here and will probably keep using it, but I’d love to see improvements to the workout format to make it more fluid and hands-off.

Misleading ‘30-day free trial’. I requested not to renew and my account was terminated immediately with no follow up email regarding subscription cancellation. It was all a bit strange.

Signed up to MTB Fitness on Tuesday and I’m extremely impressed with it so far. The app clearly provides every opportunity for you to improve and although I haven’t been into it long enough to see improvements (3 days) the training plans I’ve followed so far I can feel how ‘it just works’ they’re varied which is making me look forward to the next session as opposed to dragging myself to the gym to train aimlessly and there’s clearly some real thought gone into making the training very specific. Love it so far.

I find the scheduling of workout very confusing and “clunky”. Designing your own work out, moving exercises into a natural order and copying and pasting a workout to another day is cumbersome. I have reverted to pen and paper to do a lot of this. More simple customisation of workouts is needed. Great exercises and lots of them which is nice as well a weekly exercise updates is a positive.

Matt was great, the customer service is always excellent and the money-back guarantee/free trial removed any hesitation about trying the app out. I would recommend anyone who is interested in mountain biking & working out to give the app a try.

I only spend a few days on the app but in that time I found it useful to start the MTB program towards the goal of helping me get bike fit coming from many years of just doing trail running programs. I’ve only stopped as I’ve been challenged to do one final long run later in the year after which will start to diversify back to MTB training that’s less wearing on my aging body. Matt was really helpful at all times .

Hi Matt So I’m still training lots- although I must confess that although my apple watch is synched to my phone and therefore your app… it still seems that your app is not picking up any activity unless i deliberately record on the app. Also - your work outs are brilliant but I end up with such serious DOMS that I’m not able to do anything else at all for two days🤣

Great app, the workouts are awesome with a lot of exercises that I’ve never seen before, which can be frustrating. Only because I can’t substitute an exercise that isn’t In the app….so I usually choose one that’s somewhat close and use that. Otherwise awesome!!

Super keen to try but false advertising at R15. Never a good sign, as I would have been shocked when R390 gets deducted. Makes you wonder how many reviews are genuine.

Morning Matt I subscribed to the MTB fitness app on the 31 May and I have completed 50 hours using your app since then with approximately half of that time completing the workouts, stretches and intervals. I am on an extended holiday and so training is not easy, but despite the extra mural activities that go with holidays, I’ve noticed a tangible difference in my riding and conditioning since joining. I’m stronger up the hills, can sustain the effort for longer and my body feels stronger and seems to be more capable of dealing with challenging trails. I’m looking forward to my next multi-stage MTB race later on in the year! The things I find most useful using your programme and app are as follows: 1. Exercises are tailored for MTB riding and for busy lifestyles where training can be done anywhere and under any conditions 2. After picking up an initial ITB niggle, my core, legs and shoulders have all got stronger and these muscle groups feel stronger and more supple 3. The interval training is excellent when combined with the gym sessions 4. The exercise routines are well structured and the timer makes the sessions work well along with your instructive videos. I also like the calendar and monitoring of the exercises that also link to my other apps such as Strava. This is motivational and encourages one to sustain the disciplines and the consistency of effort Well done and thank you. I certainly haven’t regretted the decision I made to join! Regards Richard
