Ordered a commercial oven gas pipe. Delivered next day which was brilliant. I then realised I had ordered the wrong size. Called about organising an exchange as there was no label in the box. Was told as long as the item hadn’t been used. This would be okay. I had to then order the correct part. Which again was delivered the next day. Which was excellent. My only complaints are that the return cost me £8 and I had over £10 pounds deducted from the refund. Which I can only assume was for opening one end of the plastic wrap to see if the item would fit my cooker. The wrap was still on the item and the condition of the item was unused and as it was as i received. Because of these two unexpected costs I would use this company again. Which is a shame as the products, delivery and customer service was excellent.

Hi Scott, Thank you for your comments. There were no deductions from your refund for damage, the item was returned in perfectly re-sellable condition. The deduction was for the postage cost paid, £5.99+Vat, not over £10, this is the cost you were charged at checkout to deliver it. We do not pay for returns to come back to us, unless damaged or incorrect etc. for the same reason when it is no fault of our own, this is clearly stated in our delivery & returns policy.
The price is good but delivery company APC not so good . Got one part of delivery reasonably quick. Had a two hour slot which they didn’t make because driver ran out of time. Gave another slot which was unsuitable so rearranged for Monday but they turned up and left card. Hopefully receive it Monday after ordering on 22 March

Hi Stephen, Many apologies for this issue experienced. I can see that we initially had a supply problem with the Speedfit 28 x 28 x 15 Tees, we did not want to delay the order so sent the majority of the order straight away. These came back into stock on Friday the 25th, and we despatched them immediately with APC for delivery to you on the Saturday, we had no idea this delivery never happened, and most certainly should have arrived by now. We generally only use APC for deliveries under 1kg, and weekend deliveries as they do this for no extra cost. We wish you would have contacted us on the Monday to let us know of the issue, instead of waiting until now, as we could have jumped staight on it, like we will now for you, and contact the courier to get this delivered ASAP. We will copy you into the communications, so you know exactly what is going on, and when to expect the delivery. Again, sincere apologies for this issue experienced.
Advertised an 8mm trv. When turned up they were 10mm trv with adapters So still got to cut pipe work as old olive has distorted pipework and the adapters won’t seal properly, Should has just brought 10mm ones from local shop 😩

Hello Iain, Many apologies for this issue, and thank you for your feedback. We are of the belief that when this product was initially added to the website, the product in question did come as an 8mm valve, this has changed in recent times to merge the 10mm and 8mm product together as one with the bullet reducer included within the pack. We had not updated the website in line with these changes. After seeing your comments left, we can confirm this product has now been updated to clearly show what it is we are selling. We will be in touch to see if you want us to collect the product from you, and obviously arrange a full refund.
Just ok, free delivery is £75+vat which is a higher than most. My delivery was a day later then they said but, it was free so, can I complain?!?! Nothing missing and will use again though.

Delivery was very quick but unfortunately the pipe I ordered was bent and a valve was wrong. They were very quick to replace the pipe and valve, but the replacement valve was again wrong. I gave up and got one from B&Q. I would suggest they use something rigid to pack their pipes, as the second one was also slightly bent although not badly.

Hello John, We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused by these issues. As detailed in our E-Mail to you, we have let you down, and can assure you it will be dealt with, with the member of staff that we can see picked and packed your order on both occasions. The normal protocols were not followed on this occasion for packing pipe lengths, we do agree and consideration needs to be taken into the packaging sending these 1 metre pipe lengths by courier moving forwards. Again, sincere apologies for the issues you have experienced with this order, we can assure you this is most certainly not the norm. Everything was great but I found the shopping basket kept deleting items so I am now without pipe clips which is frustrating, could have sworn they were in the basket when I checked out!!!

Mid position valve and actuator arrived very quickly. However, the unit had sustained a certain amount of damage at some point before delivery. Part of the plastic quick release/retaining mechanism was broken, which I managed to glue back on for satisfactory repair. Also, two of the three olives supplied were bent out of shape, so I had to use alternative ones. This said, the valve is now installed and is working perfectly

Good Evening Geoff, I apologise for the issue you experienced with your delivery. As discussed on the phone when we called you, unfortunately one of the guys in the office had failed to mention to you in his delivery confirmation E-Mail that the order would be coming in 2 seperate deliveries the next day, we apologise for this. In our defence, on the day delivery was stated, nobody was in for either delivery anyway, and although you left a note on the door for us to leave the items in the porch, that was fine for the small box of radiator valves, but we could not have got a 3m long bundle of copper tube in your front porch. It is also asking for trouble leaving copper tube unsigned for, as the chances of it going missing before you got home are very high, so it is company policy not to leave it without a signature. So we think "delivery was haphazard and unreliable" is maybe a little harsh on us. Again, many apologies for the mis-communication. Best Regards Monsterplumb Ltd
Quick despatch and usual confirmation. Good on prize comparing with other shops. However packaging was not acceptable. I understand that it is a start up company but sending 12 items in a bag which good be easli torn rather than cardboard did not make professional impression with over £500 order.

Good Afternoon Jacek, I am very sorry you are disappointed with the packaging on the order you received. Your order came direct from our supplier the next day as stated, our supplier is less than 2 miles away from your delivery address, and they delivered in person to your door to deliver the order. At no point would your products have been through any kind of delivery depot, as would have been the case if we were sending it via Parcelforce. If that was the case we always ensure that all orders go out in the best packaging possible to ensure the products arrive in brand new condition, and always bubble wrapped heavily if smaller items, which go in a courier bag. In your case, the supplier has put the items in one of their heavy duty bags for ease of delivery more than to avoid damage, as they knew that it would be delivered safely by themselves. If that is not the case please let me know and I will arrange to have the damaged items picked up and replaced immediately.
