“Quick service, especially with engraving. I have to say I am somewhat disappointed in the color of the gold vermeil. It is very bright yellow. I wish I had gotten silver.”

“I was looking for a butterfly pendant for my daughter's 21st, and this one came up in Google ads. What wasn't clear though, when I clicked through, is that this is a children's jewellery site. I mean the model looked young but I assumed her to be a young adult. It was only when I checked my confirmation a few days later, I noticed it was for children. I guess it doesn't really matter - she likes the necklace, but perhaps the target market needs to be clearer on some pages. Besides, I wouldn't spend £65 on a necklace for a young child! Anyway, very pretty necklace, nice petite size pendant on a good quality chain.”

“A very nice necklace, a Christmas present for my granddaughter. Not sure about the huge brown ribbon to tie the box. Also the engraving is very feint, can hardly see it, however pleased overall with it.”

“I give MBL high marks in many areas. Your website was easy to navigate and filled w/ a beautiful assortment of jewelry. The necklace I ordered arrived faster than I thought possible in light of the distance involved. Your communications were friendly and customer oriented. The necklace I purchased for my granddaughter's 6th birthday is lovely w/ one exception. It is the small heart locket w/ her birthstone (citrine). The citrine mounted on the star is teeny tiny to the degree it is challenging to see the citrine. The extremely small size of the stone was not accurately represented on the website, either visually or in your description of the necklace components. Again, the necklace itself is beautiful but the size of the citrine is very disappointing. I would love to hear your thoughts b/c I don't feel I am being unreasonable in expecting a stone that can be seen and recognized. Thank you.”

“My 3 year old granddaughter was utterly delighted with the necklace. Although I agree with a previous reviewer that you do need a magnifying glass to see the Ruby. The locket is stiff to open but I think that’s a good thing so she doesn’t loose the photos from inside. All in all a lovely necklace.”

“Loved packaging and bangle was as seen x only thing I would say is that I’m Worried about discolouration as it’s pricy … Hoping it won’t !! That’s when I feel the value is poor !! But presentation wise it’s lovely :)”

We use state of the art jewellery engraving machines and the engraving needle is set to the deepest available in the industry, this is so the engraving is perfectly inscribed each time without variation. If you were not aware we do also have a preview function on the website to help you decide on different font options and how engraving will look depending on the length of the name. “I'm Not liking the engraving on the locket. It can barely be seen and it's crocked. I'm thinking twice if I should give it to my granddaughter as her first Holy communion gift.”

Dear Patricia, We are sorry to hear you are disappointed with the engraving, and we would like to give you some additional information. We use state of the art jewellery engraving machines and have the engraving needle set to the deepest available in the industry. This is so the engraving is perfectly inscribed each time without variation. The font requested was Script which is slanted like an italic, even though aligned it is by nature on an angle. It is always worth considering that the slanting fonts may cause the engraving to look off-centre visually despite being centred, and this is why we note this on the product page. We also have a preview function to help you decide on different font options and how they will look depending on the initial.
