“I enquired about a mobility bed as I’m desperate for a new bed but was shocked to learn of the prices being quoted it’s unbelievable how much they are charging for the thousands of pounds so I asked if I could get 1 and they could take it off my pip and I was told they couldn’t do that but I can get a car doing that I said then I said how can anyone disabled afford to pay that much for a bed without doing that ?”

“So far, having been browsing through many of the chairs with a view to ordering a new chair have I missed something? I am yet to find mention of the materials with which these items have been stuffed! One of the most important criteria, surely: for who wants to sit on something stuffed with material that squashes and changes shape within a few months normal use? Take a look at display chairs ( in shops) which have been subject to shoppers trying them out and note how many have already started to sag!”

“I really wish Neil could do this, but as he has been non verbal since birth, with severe learning disabilities, he is unable to. The enquiry was from us, his parents, on his behalf.”

“I recently used this site as I was looking to buy an electric adjustable bed and didn’t know which of the multiple companies on google to shortlist. Only 1 of the companies provided bothered to contact me and didn’t have what I was looking for. Great idea in theory but not so great in practice.”

“I have no idea if this is a genuine comparison site or not. My criteria came up with a company called adjustamatic who proceeded to call me back almost immediately and then harassed me with a further 3 calls within half an hour the next morning. Just felt like pressure selling so I told them not to call again.”
