Like so many others I place an order in November and have repeatedly been told my order would be with me the following week for it never to arrive. Just heard they have gone in to administration. Shocking taking peoples money and continuing to take orders when they knew they would never fulfil them. Now need to try to claim money back from bank.

Good Morning, I do sincerely apologise to hear of your experience you have had. Regrettably the Luxury Home Furniture Ltd T/A Shabby went into administration, however The Rug Seller have now taken ownership of the company. We have now started trading and to hoping to build stronger relationships with our customers. We have access to the customer service inbox, but unfortunately, we are unable to answer, view or action any enquiries regarding existing or previous orders as we do not have the facilities to locate these details and therefore cannot take further action. You may have received an email previously advising of the administration of the company and who to contact regarding any unresolved queries. We would advise to contact your bank to make a chargeback where possible, alternatively you can contact the administrators "Inquesta" who will work to return what balance may be owed from the sale of the business following administration. Apologies again for any issues caused. Kind Regards, Benjamin Shabby.co.uk

I ordered and made payment on 30th November and still waiting for an item and they kept saying they were dealing with a lot of orders and I would receive my order soon. Nothing in December despite several emails and nothing in January and just more and more excuses...it is just appalling and now having read the reviews I will be contacting my bank to get my money back.

Same story here. Goods ordered beginning of Nov and payment taken in full. Numerous emails later, being continually told items were being processed through the warehouse and apologies for the delay due to the Black Friday Backlog. Nothing has arrived. I have now requested a refund but had no reply yet. Taken it up with my bank & visa, hoping to be refunded in full. They should not have been continuing to accept orders and offering sale prices if they were struggling and/or had no intention of fulfilling orders. Individuals are struggling aswell as businesses, so this is unacceptable!

I am extremly disappointed as I have palced a very large order on November 27th in the black friday sale amd to date I have not recieved any of my items! Despite numerous emials to the company I was only acknowledged on Jan 25th advising that they have gone into administration. This is extremly stressful for me as anyone else I have worked hard to purchase these items. And as a single parent this was a big stretch and now the uncertainty of £837 is absoulety devasting.

I ordered my item on Black Friday and still to date I’m waiting for the delivery, I have chased numerous times since asking where my item is and I finally got a response advising the following: “your order was delayed due to Christmas and will be dispatched in new year”. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and more time and waited, but since following up again over the last few weeks all occasions they have not responded nor returned my money. Finally, I did some digging on social media and review websites and can see it wasn’t just a coincidence it seems to be common practice for this company. I was saddened to see that so many people have also received the same treatment and the sun giving credit in articles to the owners!
