Good Morning, I do sincerely apologise to hear of your experience you have had. Regrettably the Luxury Home Furniture Ltd T/A Shabby went into administration, however The Rug Seller have now taken ownership of the company. We have now started trading and to hoping to build stronger relationships with our customers. We have access to the customer service inbox, but unfortunately, we are unable to answer, view or action any enquiries regarding existing or previous orders as we do not have the facilities to locate these details and therefore cannot take further action. You may have received an email previously advising of the administration of the company and who to contact regarding any unresolved queries. We would advise to contact your bank to make a chargeback where possible, alternatively you can contact the administrators "Inquesta" who will work to return what balance may be owed from the sale of the business following administration. Placed order 12th feb, waited ten days no email no sign they didn’t even pick phone calls, I was appalled by there customer service, they charge £7.20 for delivery that is ridiculous, did get a call back said they will refund my delivery fee and dispatch items 24/48 hours, well I am waiting

I ordered this one and was very excited that it arrived after 10 days and I don’t live in the UK. But only the glass plates arrived. I send a mail to the service and they were nice and said they look into it. Long story short.. the whole table arrived after two months. They service didn’t got back to me and I had to tell me I want my money back and I would call in PayPal because I payed that way. The table is good quality and beautiful! But I don’t know if I would pay again on shabby store.

Cancelled order and had email to confirm. They then proceeded to send 2 bar stools. So had to be sent back. Still waiting for a refund. No one gets back to you despite several emails sent. Then today I get notice my order is on its way. 😳 Please contact me

Still waiting for my umbrella stand. Placed the order in November. Keep being told it’s on its way. Promises of call backs that never happened. No answer to emails. Shocking!

The item was priced at £50, which I thought was ok. After I purchased the first one, I wanted another one and found it for £25 on several other websites. The finish of the mirror is also poor, and the cheaper version I ordered from another site has a much better finish. There are gaps in the lining of the mirror.

I love shabby store stuff but I feel really let down by them recently I’ve had to keep reminding them about a refund and still yet to receive! Not a small amount either in these times. Please shabby store can you sort this out.

I placed an order in August 2020 where they took the payment and I only received half of it this week November 2020. Still waiting for my refund for the other half I didn’t receive. Lovely products but extremely unprofessional. I won’t be buying from them again and definitely do not recommend them.

Avoid, avoid, avoid! wish I had read the reviews before I ordered, my money was taken only to find that the product was out of stock and expected in 2 months. I only got my refund because I chased it through paypal!

I’m sorry to say my recent experience with Shabby Store was less than satisfactory. I had ordered a twig heart wall decoration that had been reduced to clear, and I ordered this online as I had been looking for something like this for a few weeks. I was thrilled to have found one and at a reduced price! I received my order confirmation, and a follow-up email to say it was almost being despatched. Then nothing for almost a week. I called customer services as I still hadn’t had any message to indicate a delivery time/date, only to be informed that the item I had ordered was deemed unfit for sale and they couldn’t send it out to me. “So apologies for that” was all the apology I got, and judging by the time frame and the fact that I had to chase this order (I emailed initially and got no response so called again) It didn’t seem that anyone was aware that the order wouldn’t be sent out until the operative I spoke to went to check it’s whereabouts. This really is shoddy customer service, and I was disappointed with the service I received as it was very matter of fact, and as I deal with customer service as part of my job I wouldn’t have dealt with it in this way. I would have at least offered an alternative, or to help in any way I could. I understand mistakes happen but this could have been dealt with very differently, without me having to chase it up.

I had to return a vase, they received it on 19.11.19 but still have not informed Klarna and so Klarna are telling me my payment is overdue. I have contacted twice by email - enjoy using Klarna and hope this does not affect my being able to use it in future

Was very Happy with the item purchased, but disappointed in how long it took to be dispatched, when I queried this by sending an email - I was impressed by the quick reply but was informed it said dispatch time at checkout, but I did not notice this so it couldn't have been very obvious. 9 - 12 days I think is quite a long time these days. When other stores can send it within 3 - 7 days! Lovely item but slow service.

The sign I ordered is lovely but it did not arrive for 4 weeks after I ordered it; because it was not send out, I also paid an extortionate amount for postage.

Still awaiting my purchase. I emailed for a delivery update , got automatic reply with a promise to get in touch. Nothing. I then called and spoke to a customer service adviser who promised to check and call back. No reply. Have emailed again. Hope to get some information soon as this is a gift and had expected it by now.

After only 3 weeks the chairs I purchased from them broken! Bad craftsmanship. They did come back to me within 24 hours and offered to replace the item BUT I need to pack it! and take a day off work because company policy is we don't collect on weekends! are we in the 19th century where you need a horse and carriage? Not good! Not good at all!

As much as I like the furniture, my experience in regard to the delivery of the furniture was very bad. In fact, I would say that it was appalling. So yes to the furniture and a big No to the delivery.
