I placed an order. Paid online with Apple Pay Order confirmed Confirmation Email received Then the order was cancelled. 'fraud' being the reason! I emailed to enquire how this conclusion was reached. No reply. No purchase. A lost customer! Useless. You need to do better.

We did not receive any email enquiry from you following the cancellation, otherwise we would absolutely have responded. We always aim to reply to all customer messages as quickly as possible, so I apologise if there has been any issue with delivery of your email to us. With regards to the order, we take fraud prevention extremely seriously — both to protect our customers and our business. When a payment provider or bank flags a transaction as potentially fraudulent, we are required as a company to act immediately. In these situations, the correct and responsible action is to cancel the order and issue a full refund straight away, which is what was done in this case. We completely understand that this can be frustrating, especially when you know the order was genuine, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. As a gesture of goodwill, if you would still like to place an order with us, we would be happy to offer you a 50% discount — please just contact us directly and we will arrange this for you. Hi Tony, Thank you for your message, I've looked into this, and it shows that UPS delivered your parcel on Wednesday 02/11/2022. Looking at the tracking delays, it seems like A late UPS trailer arrival at Finglas, Ireland caused the delay. Here at Mellor Online, we always post the parcels the same day, but with all international packages, delays are possible, which is out of our control. Glad to see you now have your parcel.

Hi Gareth. Thank you for your feedback. We looked into this error and can only apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. On rare occasions, mistakes happen, but we always try our best. We have now implemented a new system to avoid this happening again. As a goodwill gesture and as you are a valued customer, we will refund you your postage for this order and give you £10 off the next order you place with us.

We are sorry to hear that your item (Lamp High Level Brake 27 LED 12 volt, 0-099-02) was not in stock you ordered from us. This was a stock error on our part due to the item been discontinued by Durite UK. We informed you straight away that we had no stock and gave you a full refund.

Hello David, We only send out review emails from customers who have ordered from us, recently or in the past, we have no control over what emails people use when signing up to our website, then reviews.co.uk automatically sends out an email a few days after, asking for a review from the customer. Since we have recently signed up to reviews.co.uk and its new, the orders may go back a few years. We apologize for the confusion.
