Thank you for taking the time to post a review Mr Faringdon. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the Rich English Fruit Cake this time. We haven't changed the recipe since Meg first developed it over 30 years ago. I hope you find your favourite recipe with us and thanks again for the review. Kindest, Alice.

“Bought this for an anniversary gift for some lovely friends who love ginger. It was well received. The cake was light and moist and the tin is reminiscent of the 50's with the shades of green chosen. Also, the customer service is brilliant. I will use again.”

“The taste was good but we did find the cake very crumbly making it difficult to eat when people were receiving it at the end of the meal.”
