Hi Heather Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review - I'm so pleased you have enjoyed the cakes. The plastic packaging we use to void fill in the parcels is a by-product from wrapping our cakes. I hope this goes some way to explain the logic. The plastic can be recycled at most supermarkets.
