“6 days past the best before date when I ordered them. Bought on the 8th and arrived with best before date of the 2nd. A bit disappointed as they were a gift for a friend. Shame really as other than that delivery was quick and my friend did enjoy them despite the brownies being a tad tough.”

I am so sorry to hear your delivery was late. We sent your order using DPDs overnight service as requested and your parcel wasn't flagged as delayed so we were unaware until now that it had been delayed. I have refunded your shipping cost and will inform DPD also. Kindest, Jess

“Pretty little cake . Ideal as a tiny gesture of greeting or thanks. We found it was a bit too sweet for our palate, the recipient was delighted. Delivery was on time .”

“I wanted to give 5 stars.I have eaten your ginger cake before and it's lovely.However,I asked for the cake to be delivered on the 11th as the address was a business one.The cake arrived on the Saturday-9th-and wasn't found and given to my friend until the evening of the 11th.This means that it wasn't as fresh as I'd expected it to be.Thank You”

Hi Jessica - you only paid for Royal Mail standard service rather than a Saturday DPD service which explains why your order was delivered later than you had hoped. For Saturday services the DPD Saturday service must be selected and paid for. Kindest, Jess

“I paid 9.50gbp for it to arrive on 9.11.24, but it arrived 12.11.24. I emailed twice asking where it was and for a refund on the specific day delivery payment. This was a birthday cake for a birthday on 9.11.24 I could have ordered it sooner, but assumed the extra payment meant delivery would occur. The delivery left it at the front porch of the flats even though I was in and the I wrote that the top floor was the safe place. The cake texture was dryer than hoped for which perhaps links to the fact that it arrived 3 days late. I am disappointed with the response to my emails, the lateness, the delivery and the cake texture.”

“Your iced Christmas cake is released just in time for my husband's Birthday each year and he absolutely loves fruit cake. This is the third year I have bought your cake to use for his Birthday and again it was very well received! Beautifully moist and preferred to similar but drier cakes from 2 well-known stores. Thanks for making his Birthday so special.”
