Really enjoyed my first delivery with meatbox, so I ordered another. DPD went to the wrong address, I tried to rectify this with the sales team but was just ignored. The food was good first time round but if DPD messes up, then it's your problem.

I ordered over £100 of chicken breasts - my first ever order with Meatbox. When delivered - one of the sealed bags was open (clearly had been cut open). The liquid from the chicken soaked the entire order. Since I couldn’t account for when the package had been cut open I had to throw the chicken away. I emailed twice (with photos attached) requesting someone get in touch. I called and left a voicemail. No reply to anything. Will not use this company again

VERY VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH MY CHRISTMAS CHATEAUBRIAND WHEN I CUT THE STRING IT FELL INTO THREE PIECES -- THREE PIECES THAT CONTAINED ALOT OF FAT AND NOT GOOD LOOKING MEAT WHOEVER STRUNG IT TOGETHER WAS VERY SKILLED FOR FORMING THE SHAPE OF IT IN THE FIRST PLACE NO MORE ORDERS FROM ME!

Item should have been delivered on the 23rd of December by DPD but never arrived. Got told it would be with us on the 24th of December, but never arrived. Ended up having to have chicken breast for Christmas Dinner...awesome. Then got told it would come on the 29th, never arrived as DPD said it was perishable. Meatbox told me that they would refund me on this occassion and made it sound like they were doing me a favour. Hate to say, but as I never received what I ordered under the consumer rights act I was due a refund.

I ordered a Biltong subscription box 2,5 weeks ago and it has not arrived yet. I bet everything in there is lovely, but I must say I am quite upset with the delivery

It's just arrived this evening 22 due on the 16th, not refridgerated, a week late and way beyond fit for human consumption. I'm sorry to say that comms were poor from the team and I won't be using the service again.

This meat delivery was not delivered. This was a gift to my parents and I'm particularly upset. this is a disgrace

The short ribs I bought were appalling. Virtually all fat and I had to order a replacement product from an alternative supplier (Farmison & Co) on express delivery to guarantee edible meat for the special occasion meal. I will not be ordering from Meatbox again

Extremely disappointed. Discovery box was barely a 'discovery' out of 6 packs there was only two different brands. I emailed 4 days ago to ask if I could swap so I could get more variety and try different brands versions of biltong and still no answer. Yet I've had 3 emails asking me to leave a review and I have left 1 star each time and still no response. Wouldn't use again.

First time ordering from Meatbox fast delivery, easy ordering, I ordered a variety of BBQ sewers - the lamb kofta’s were delicious, unfortunately I had taken them to a BBQ and the rest had been gobbled up before I had a chance to sample them.

Ordered 2 steaks and both we’re almost inedible, full of thick gristle and could hardly cut it with a knife. Threw most of the steaks away Won’t use again, very disappointed

Ordered a box on 10 Dec as a Christmas present and requested delivery for 22 Dec. It turns out that the track my order function isn’t possible and when my order didn’t arrive on time I contacted their customer service team, who told me that Royal Mail were very busy and it should arrive in the next day or so. Spoiler alert- it didn’t and didn’t arrive in time for Christmas. I emailed customer services to let them know it hadn’t arrived and express my disappointment and didn’t receive a response. I emailed again a few days later to ask for an update as to where my order was and received an out of office email, stating they were back on 5 Jan. By the 6 Jan I still had not received any communication so I rang Meatbox. I wasn’t offered any apology and was told that they would send a new order out straight away. This has now arrived, but I’m still awaiting the apology or an offer of a refund of postage….maybe I was unlucky, but not sure I’d trust them with my business again, especially not if it’s a gift!

Have already sent email, saying we had the worst beef we have ever purchashed, too much fat and too much gristle, 40% went in the dustbin!!
