Wooden spoons arrived broken. Probably packaging insufficient plus handling accident. Replacement received with better packaging in a few days.

So far I can't think of anything but good things to say about McNeela. I've had my Phoenix Concertina for a couple of months now and I'm extremely happy with it. The bellows are starting to feel more relaxed and the sound of the notes is superb, especially in the lower register. I'm also enjoying the lessons from Jack Talty. The discussions on fingering and the air button have been very helpful. I would recommend McNeela to anyone! It's always great to get your emails too. Thanks for everything.

Every order or question I have put in to McNeela has been quickly answered by their staff. It really is a pleasure to do business with this company. If I had any criticism at all it might be that navigating the website can be confusing at times, but whenever I’ve sent a question or asked for help it didn’t take long for someone to get back to me.

I am a baritone saxophone player, living in Oslo, Norway . I love that instrument, but it is a bit heavy to carry around for daily practices. I heard the Irish low D whistle early this summer, and I absolutely fell in love with the sound. I got in contact with the musician wanting to get some lessons, and he recommended me to order a whistle from McNeela Music. I ordered on the net, a Tony Dixon low D whistle. Before I got it, I thought that it would be a good idea to buy an ordinary D whistle as well, and I ordered also on the net, a McNeela Wild whistle. When I got the two whistles, I was really impressed by the quality of instruments and the beautiful sound I could get out of them. Later in the summer I was going to Dublin, and being so happy with my buys from McNeela, I decided to visit their factory and shop in Baldoyle, Dublin. I there bought myself another whistle, now a “Wild” in Bb. Again, a fabulous little instrument, and I love all my whistles, practicing on them nearly daily.
