“I've had the Phoenix concertina for a few weeks, and so far, I love it. One of the reeds bumped loose in shipping, but the great response from team McNeela had it remedied in no time. The lessons have also been really fun, plus informative and educational. I'm an absolute beginner, and am finding it easy to follow along, but it doesn't get boring either. I feel the concertina and lessons were well worth the price. It's all been positive.”

“The instruments I've purchased from McNeela have been outstanding. The price has been great and the instruments well made. The only caveat I've had is with the shipping. I live in the US and they are in Ireland. They say it will take about 7 to 10 days, and that is accurate. However there is no tracking information provided, so I don't know when to expect delivery. As a result I missed the delivery once and had to go to the post office to retrieve it. However the post office couldn't find the package. Later that day after talking with the postal delivery man, I went back to the post office. This time someone a little more astute was able to easily find the package. Had I known when to expect the delivery, I would have been there.”

“The delivery of my Wild Irish whistles from McNeela Music was great. They came in much sooner than expected, especially considering shipping was from the UK to US. These are whistles of the highest quality, in D & Eb. I love their sound, craftsmanship & beauty. They are quieter whistles than some (especially the lowest pitches in the bottom octave), so I don't know how well they would project for a loud session, but their tone is extremely sweet. Each note seems perfectly in tune throughout the entire range and the subtonic (C natural on the D whistle; Db on the Eb) is dead on the money with the standard oxxooo fingering on both whistles. Also, I love the embroidery on the whistle pouches. Sorry it took me this long to share my impression, but I wanted to get in a couple months of solid daily playing before reviewing. Your prices are very economical, considering their exceptional quality. Overall, I'm very happy with my prch of these instruments. Thank you for allowing me to share this feedback.”
