“Never played a drum before am extraordinarily happy with my new bodhran handmade in Ireland (am proud to be an owner too).....didn't know if I would be able but I managed to find a low (kinda bass) area on it I had one broken wrist then the other but still managing to "get going on it"........I love the instrument......Thank you so much! good exercise for my wrist......”

“I bought a Setanta high d brass whistle to give it a go ! The service from the shop was great. International delivery was quicker than expected and the whistle is great ! As with most whistle player I have far to many, this one is brilliant and is my go to instrument for practice and my local sessions from now on !”

“The prospect of being away from my piano for 6 to 12 months was rather daunting so I decided to try a concertina as a small, portable instrument to help me keep up with music while travelling. I am completely new to concertinas but decided on the Swan because it looked like a quality instrument that hopefully will be challenging but satisfying to play for a number of years. It was also on special which helped my decision. It arrived safely, promptly, and well packed and Miriam and Paraic were both very helpful and reassuring when I had some concerns about the normal vibration in the lower notes. I appreciated their friendly helpful service, and if I ever outgrow my Swan, I'll return to McNeela Music to upgrade. Thanks very much.”

“This was my first purchase from McNeela music. I bought a Bodhrán kit after watching him make one on YouTube. I haven't built it yet but the rim, goat skin and other materials look to be of high quality. They respond quickly to emails and got the kit shipped out right away. Quick professional Service and value priced, I would order again and will use them for future purchases.”

“After much anticipation my Setanta C whistle arrived today. I had to go to the post office to get the package and there was a moment of panic when it couldn't be found. Yikes! But, on a second check there it was. the whistle is aesthetically pleasing and feels solid and weighty in my hands. Its sound quality is sweet and very pleasing. I'm well pleased with this purchase and would certainly consider and whistle purchase from Setanta and McNeela Instruments. A very nice, well padded carry case came with the whistle and was a nice addition.”
