“I have been playing for decades in Australia's premier Trad music band The Bushwackers. As well as being main vocalist, I'm the 'bush' percussionist - lagerphone, bones, spoons and bodhran. For our 50th year, I decided to treat myself to one of Paraic's tunable instruments. What a treat! Best investment ever! Superb build quality and sound and couldn't be happier. The only slight (and I do mean slight) quibble I have is that the carry case was not of the same quality and frayed/split at the seams quite quickly. However, it was the instrument I was interested in and it's a beauty. Thanks Paraic and your trusty team of craftspeople. Cheers, Dobe Newton (Melbourne)”

“I came to McNeela via Cutie Pies reviews of the Sentanta line which I then ordered in full, not knowing that the even better Wilds were coming. So I've now got two fabulous sets of soprano-whistles and a fine set of low whistles that I really very happily play. And the bags of course. Service and communication are great and I like the blog - as does my harp-playing wife. And I also like the idea of the online-course structure even though I have no time for this at the moment. In summer 2020 we had planned to come to Dublin and on this occasion to visit the shop, but alas ... But it is still on our list of things to do. Five stars and five thumbs-ups for McNeela.”
