“I would not recommend to a friend. The only good thing is the price. Service leaves a lot to be desired. I was promised a delivery on the Tuesday but did not arrive, the carrier emailed me to explain that Maxwell had not handed over the item. No updates from Maxwell so I called and listened to their self praise speech while waiting to speak to them, in the speech it tells me that they will contact you after speaking to them within 30 minutes giving me an update, this did not happen on the two occasions I called them. I had no info or tracking for my item and I did request an email to confirm a delivery and yet again Nothing!!! My item finally arrived on the Saturday. I will not be buying from this unreliable company again.”

“Ordered before 4 pm as website shows next day delivery. Order page says usually despatched in 24hrs. When ordered this changed to 3-5 days. 5 days later hadn't heard anything. Rang customer service who couldn't offer explanation as why not delivered they would ring back. 90mins later having not heard anything I rang back. Only explanation was courier off sick. I eventually got call to say should be delivered in 2 days time. 7 working days after ordered. Let's see if arrives”

“Maxwells.... Due to me purchasing from Maxwells via the web, I've been asked to complete a review. Well, they 'did' deserve five stars, good service, good employees, an array of products and it's easy to enter & exit the premises, no problems....... But, I purchased on line simply because Maxwells raised the price of my purchase over night by 20%! and on Maxwells web page, the product was 'only' up lifted over night by 10%, henceforth the purchase..... so, is it 5 stars or ? stars. And now they've stopped 'click and collect' after I got a discount code!”
