Not very happy. I ordered a hinge on March 31st an paid £4.99 for next working day delivery. It's now April 3rd and I still haven't got it. The only thing I have received is an e-mail asking me to fill in a customer satisfaction survey!

Website good. I made mistake with first order but this was rectified by 'phone call. Re-ordered item was delivered next day which was excellent as only paid for delivery in 4-5 days. Very pleased with goods and service.

Very helpful staff who dealt with a query regarding our online order very quickly and efficiently. Goods arrived quicker than expected. Will definitely use again and have no hesitation in recommending Maxwells to other customers.

Bought the Item on Sunday with next Day Delivery so expected it sometime Tuesday. I received an email saying its going to be Wednesday. So not next day as specified and paid for.

Promised delivery on Tuesday 31/03/2015 did not arrive assured it will be delivered Thursday 02/04/2015 luckily did not cause a problem but may have done if I had taken time off work.

The ordering process and check out was easy. The prices were very competitive. The delivery charges were a little expensive but I still saved money on the purchases I made. Overall - very pleased.

I used next day delivery for 15 bags of compost ant it was delivered as promised. A little communication thing that could be improved - the driver called me and said that he will not put it in my shed as it it a pallet delivery and they normally leave it outside. This was not indicated on the website when I ordered, and I even left instructions to leave bags in the shed. After I placed an order, I have not received any calls or emails saying that the bags cannot be left in the shed. At the end, they left it in my front garden which was fine by me.

Bought 2 oak barrels for my garden and very happy with them and the service. Nice and pleasant deliver drivers. :-) Will use this company again and recommend to my friends.

The whole order process was simple. We opted to collect our laminate flooring in store and received confirmation of order and collection updates by both e-mail and telephone. Very pleased with the service provided. S.Clasper

I placed my order on Tuesday 24th March 2015 for next day delivery. I received an e-mail to apologise and tell me that the delivery would now be on Thursday 26th and received an e-mail to say that my order had been DISPATCHED on Wednesday 25th. I did not receive the order on Thursday. I telephoned today (27th) only to be told the item is OUT OF STOCK and would get it by Wednesday 1st April ! I don't understand how an item that is out of stock could possibly have been dispatched. I cancelled the order .

Order placed on Tuesday, for an item clearly shown as "In Stock" and available. I paid extra for "Next Working Day" delivery, a service which is prominently advertised on their website. It's now Friday. There's still no sign of my item. Customer service emails are ignored. Maxwells DIY, you are the WORST!
