“Very detailed and thorough report. Very helpful to the fact it picked up some items that I didn’t so managed to get a further reduction in the selling price , The report went into good detail and was layer out in a particular order. Very professionally written, would definitely recommend”

“I would highly recommend Your local Surveyor to carry out all of your survey requirements. We were advised by them to carry out a full buildings survey on a property we were interested in buying and had put in an offer. However, all was not what it seemed with the house and it required immediate work to correct bad workmanship and age old problems and would need further work in the future. All in all it would it would start costing us thousands from day one. As a result we withdrew our offer. Throughout the process Your local Surveyor provided us with an excellent and supportive service.”

“It proved to be very helpful when I had no idea who to go to! One suggestion would be that there should be a way to let other candidates know when I already chose one. Emails kept on coming in and I could not reply all the emails one by one so I just left some unanswered. Felt sorry for them, though!”

“I had a basic homebuyers survey done before buying my new house. The survey highlighted issues relating to damp. The previous owners had had a new damp proof course, but, on the advice of this survey, I had a damp and timber expert out who explained that their DPC had failed. As a result, I managed to knock money off the asking price. The survey was very thorough and was received within the time frame.”
