“Survey arranged fairly promptly & report received 6 days after survey. It was obvious on reading the report it consisted of computer generated generic paragraphs & phrases strung together. Very little input from the surveyor as information that could easily have been obtained from the owner was not included. Our suspicions were confirmed when at the end the report was dated 28 September 2016 having actually been completed on 18 May 2021.”

“I have been trying to find a local building surveyor for weeks without success. I am buying a house and I can't find any surveyor as all of them seem to be busy for a month before they offer an appointment. Your company are doing enough for customers. “I made contact with one of your surveyors by phone and text him the details of the property. He said it could be surveyed towards the end of the following week. Nothing happened. I text him again...no response! I spoke to him again on Monday (two weeks after I originally made contact) He agreed to call me back within the hour...no response! I told him by text on Friday he had lost the business. All in all, a very disappointing, frustrating and unimpressive performance”

“I recently had a builder in to refurbish the roof but he found some big problems: The walls are hollow and may not be able to take the weight of the roof. We have combustible felt under the tiles. Some of the bricks under the roof were completely loose and could be picked up. I think the house was built cheaply back in 1980 and now I have a big problem. Please feel free to look at the house on google maps SL8 5UW No 2”

“I requested a survey of my garden as it had been invaded by Bamboo from my neighbours garden, when I contacted land surveyors they said I needed building surveyors, when I contacted building surveyors they said a needed land surveyors. To be honest, no one was interested in helping, I found the process very frustrating. I now have to attend a court without a surveyors report. I have absolutely no confidence in local surveyors at all, in fact they are disgusting.”

“You sent me Easton Bevins. I was expecting more than one option. I contacted them wanting a survey of my house. I don't have plans to sell it but do intend to live in it in retirement and wanted to know it was structurally sound. The surveyor I got through to said he would get someone to phone back. He never did”

“Waste of time. The only response I got was from an automated source that after wasting the best part of a week said they didn't in fact operate in my area. Try somewhere else. I went to the RICS (Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors)website direct. Much better outcome.”
