“Phoned the surveyors on Monday Morning to arrange a Survey and was told we had to pay up front over the phone via card. Which my son did. It took numerous phone calls to find out when they were going to the house. Finally we were told Friday 23rd. The surveyor phoned the Vendor and was told NOT to go before 2.30 as she had an appointment - he turned up at 12.s0 and there was no one in. I then phoned the surveoyors and was told the next appointments were not until after the 3rd October so I told them to cancel and not to bother and please return the monies that they had taken from our Bank Account. We now have another surveyor who can go on Wednesday the 28th and does not need payment until after the Survey. He will send an Invoice which is more than you surveyor was doing !!!!!”
“Got three answers, none local, one another we'll find you a quote site. Didn't like either of the other two offered but can not find a way to find any more (not that I'm interested, frankly). Also bombarded by phone calls from people who cannot speak English well enough to be understandable and emails in the same vein. Useless”
“THE FIRST ONE I PHONED, THE TELEPHONIST COULD NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH WELL.SO, I TRIED ANOTHER COMPANT, THE RECEPTIONIST TOOK THE DETAILS WRONGLY AND DID NOT PASS THE CORRECT DETAILS TO THE SURVEYOR AND I WAITED , BUT NOBODY TURNED UP ON TIME.... WHEN I WENT AWAY , AFTER SOME TIME, THEY PHONED TO TELL ME THE SURVEYOR IS THERE NOW IF I CAN COME TO THE MEETING PLACE NOW...I DID MANAGE TO GET THE GENERAL INFORMATION FROM THE SURVEYOR AND SHE WAS COMPETENT AND HELPFUL.”
“I think the way this website works is utterly invasive and wholly inappropriate. I do not expect to click on an enquiry and then immediately become inundated with phone calls and emails from people I do not know. I am shocked that this is even legal.”
“The concept of the website is great but the delivery is very poor. Not one practice responded positively and I even made a direct approach to two of the practices who didn't even bother to respond.

“I finally received my report 11 days after the survey, which was conducted on a small 2 bedroom semi for a Buy to Let. The report was full of typing errors and was totally rushed and unprofessional. I was not phoned on the day with any comments. I chased the written report a number of times and was fobbed off with excuses and promises of when I would receive it. I would not recommend this surveyor.”

I am sorry we were not able to find you someone covering your requirement on this occasion. Flood Risk Prevention is a relatively new service for us, so we do not have full coverage in all areas yet - but we are working hard to improve this.
