“In the end I got a reasonable survey”

“I asked by responses via email, but I got lots of phone calls too! It was a bit frustrating. An email only service would be great.”

“I found surveyors in my area quickly. I was contacted by two on the telephone and one by email within an hour of accessing the website. Unfortunately when I tried to check them out on the government registered website I didn't find any of them.”

“Only able to find one Surveyor (EPC) within the Surrey area which I found surprising. Nonetheless without the Directory I wouldn't have been able to find that.”

“Contacted one of the companies listed by your site ( the nearest) for clarification of what qualification was needed. They indicated they didn't do commercial EPC's. Sites such as yours need to be kept up to date. Yours manifestly isn't. Better guidance on what qualification is required is needed on the site. Three companies did contact us within the hour though, which was good. We chose a local surveyor as he knew the property already and was slightly cheaper.”

“I called the first surveyor on the list and he said that the price of £176 (or thereabouts) was out of date and he was charging over £300 now”

Hi Denise, We do ask all of the Surveyors we have listed to make sure the prices we show are up to date, so I am sorry this was not the case for you. I will remind them all again that they need to check these and make sure they are correct. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
