The first installers stopped working on the first day after 1 hour. They said they were the wrong type of tiles and walked off the job. The electrician and 2nd install team were very professional. The scaffolding was left up until 14 days after the install. It took lots of phone calls and emails to get removed. I have concerns over what happens should anything go wrong as the support staff seem slow to react.

Hi Roger, I'm so sorry you haven't had the best experience. The scaffold company are totally independent to us and although they do promise to adhere to our programme i'm afraid this isnt always the case . Original contqct Franklin great. Workmen conflict at my house did not clean up after they went. Follow up not great no post inspection. Follow up call but no follow up although I had reported concern

A very good and efficient team. The only issue I have had was the documentation which was hard to read and only available in print on request. Writing was too small & colour print on coloured paper is not good for those with sight impairment. Excellent installation & a good system. Could do with coaching on how to apply for payment when supply goes to the grid.

Hi Jane, We only offer print on request as we are simply doing our best to use less paper and be as sustainable as possible, however ,your concerns regarding the paperwork are totally valid and we are currently looking into ways we can improve this. The master switch fell out of the wall within days as the electrician didn't anchor it properly.

The scaffolding team turned up unexpectedly, they were just interested in rushing through the job with little attention to my property. The solar panels were fitted with a pigeon guard which I was left to sort out. The inverter was placed in the wrong position which I had to move. The cables were not secured to the beams in the roof void. In and out very quickly

Pannels work well but could do with something to stope the pidgins getting under them as we have to pay to have the gutter emptied often

I cannot recommend LMF Energy Even though LMF Energy has invited me to leave a review I cannot recommend LMF Energy which is unfortunate because all the staff I spoke to were pleasant and polite. My solar installation was a grant managed by Next Energy and installed by LMF Energy. LMF have very poor communication and this was the first issue. I received an installation plan which was only using 1 side of my roof even though I have 2 sides facing in a southerly direction. I tried repeatedly to contact LMF by telephone and my calls were ignored, I live close to the LMF office so I had to knock on their front door to get them to answer some basic tech questions and ask them to utilise both sides of my roof which they then did promptly and almost doubled the number of solar panels instantly. The second issue was that LMF connected my solar installation to the wrong side of my electric meter meaning that not only was I paying for any free energy produced by the solar panels but the way it was installed could have had serious consequences. When I became suspicious that the install was not correct I rang LMF and was ignored, I then emailed and it was ignored, I then had confirmation that the installation was definitely wrong so I rang LMF and had to threaten to report the install to the National Grid just to get a return call. I was then told to turn the solar off immediately and that an electrician would be out the next working day to fix the major installation error. 10 days after it was originally installed, my solar installation is now working properly as it should have been since the start.

Fitted 3 new storage heaters in for us can’t believe the difference in our house. Very friendly staff cleaned up after themselves. Heaters are easy to use.

From first contact, the inspection & suitability checks done within few days. After a few more days scaffolding was set up and was ready for solar installation. Solar panels installed and electric connection done pretty much at the same time, however there was a problem and luckily the electrician gave his number and after calling him issue was solved following morning. The installers were nice & friendly and it was a very speedy install. I have recommended LMF to other family members and they’ve had installations done, and they are very happy with it. Highly recommended company and I would definitely use again if needed.
