Order processed quickly , but wrapping on deliverd bulbs somewhat concerning - 2 light bulbs put into a fairly thin jiffy bag with no additional protective packaging !

Four of the bulbs arrived broken due, in my view to poor packaging. I phoned and spoke to a very nice lady who explained that they always use Jiffy bags as boxes would not be suitable. She readily agreed to repllace the broken ones and this morning 10 new ones arrived in perfect order, well packed. Their customer service is excellent an it's good dealing with a UK company with realpeople..

Unusually, the delivery service was much slower than expected. Hence only three stars . I’m sure this is just a blip , though Royal Mail isn’t as it used to be .

Immediately after I had sent an oder I sent a second email asking to change bulbs from pearl to clear ones - same price and otherwise same spec bulbs. Lightbulbs Direct couldn't be bothered to change the order, or even to reply to my email. I will not use them again.

Ordered Sunday evening based on their promise of 2-3 days shipping (faster than Amazon). After Thursday post arrived and still no delivery, I tried to contact them. Phone number is a paid secretarial service, who can only (very slowly) take a message and they said call back could be a day or more. Contacted by web form instead. Reply was that it wasn't even shipped yet! They despatched later that day by Royal Mail tracked 48, and it turned up on Saturday. I ordered a pack of two starters, the first one I put in did not work, the light was dim and barely flickering. Luckily the second of the pair did work properly. Will not be ordering from them again.

These bulbs were used in an ancient but well maintained gas fire. At first I thought, because the fire was old, that they would be difficult to replace but an online search found Lightbulbs Direct. The coloured bulbs were easily located on their website, purchased at a reasonable price and delivered swiftly.

Loved the product. Purchased specifically for a birthday for sensory purposes. The product had been seen in situe elsewhere and was ideal. However, after not recieving the item I contacted the company, who after a soap opera of customer service and emails, dispatched the item in time for the birthday 48 hour tracked. Thank you. I am not proud of the email I sent to prompt the item to be dispatched... as a company please. . 1. Be honest if an item has not been dispatched, (tell me not just a tracking number) appologise and dispatch. 2. Change dispatch timescales on internet, give yourself some wiggle room. 3. The staff I spoke to were great however, join the team up so the customer have a seamless experience.
