“My replacement unit does not compare to previous item. new model has single button operation that i have already had false alerts while wearing in everyday occurances. when testing new model there is considerable dealy in response from call handler, who was not helpful by answering call with "what do you want" very rude and for a person who can have difficulty speaking not helpfull. also volume on new unit does not compare to previous.
all elements of new unit shows a dramatic drop in service”

“I had a fall this afternoon and am blown away with the response from LifeConnect. I was in the garden but could hear the response team calling me although they couldn’t hear me. Having only had my alarm for a week I am so impressed especially as I didn’t press the alarm. The Fall Detector is worth its weight in gold!”

“We got a fall bracelet for our mummy. Couldn’t fault the company. She kept setting it off but the company was very understanding. We let them know she was taken into hospital within 1-2 weeks of having and paying over £300 for this service. However whilst in hospital we got devasting news. Palliative care was to take place on her return home. We rang the company to say this wasn’t working for us. We asked if it could be returned for a refund. We were told oh no you can return it but will not get anything back. Did we have another elderly relative we could use it on !!!
Disgusting service talk about preying on the vulnerable !!”

“My unit was affected by lightning strikes and so it was not working. One call and a day later a replacement unit complete including personal wrist button was received by post. I now have the reassurance back that i am protected.”

“The service provided when ordering the alarm & pendant was second to none, including the setting up etc. However my mum had Alzheimer’s & would not wear the alarm. The contract was cancelled prior to the renewal date, however at the end of March Lifeconnect took £235 from my mother’s account. Unfortunately, my mum passed away on 18/3/24. The alarm & fob have been returned, along with death certificate & bank information as requested, but they still have not refunded the amount. There are no managers to speak to, the email they give bounces back, what is a very upsetting time is being made far worse by a company who ironically look after elderly & infirm people”

“Quick efficient service but we ordered on a Wednesday and asked for the delivery to be on the Friday. It was delivered on the Thursday when we were out and a neighbour had to take it in! Nevertheless all went well and installed in a satisfactory way. I thought there would be a wireless connection to our router. The size of the table on which the router is sited is small and not able to be moved or changed to a better position so impossible to fulfil the recommended one metre apart. Perhaps this should be clarified in the sales pitch?”
