The alarms we use work completely independently from the broadband. In fact, you shouldn't even need to touch your internet connection in order to set up the alarm.
This would suggest there has been a slight error in the installation of your alarm - but should be a very quick and easy fix. I have contacted you through the email address you have provided in this review in the hopes of organising a call from a member of our friendly Techincal Team.
