“Bought Hoka Goretex trainers through their Amazon store. Started leaking after 3 runs (within 6 weeks). Contacted legend footwear and they told me that it was fair wear and tear, and wasn’t a manufacturers defect (despite not even seeing the shoes). Despite me advising they are breaching the consumer act as the trainers are not of an adequate quality or fit for purpose, they are refusing to repair/replace or refund claiming that its fair to expect goretex trainers to leak after exceptionally minimal wear. I see the vendor has replied that the footwear was outside of their standard return timeframe, which materially misses the point of The Comsumer Rights act where even after a 30 day return period, if the shoes are of an inadequate quality or not fit for purpose (which these clearly are) you are still entitled to remediation as a consumer. I have ended up needing to dispute the charge via my credit card company given the inflexibility shown by this seller”

“Superb and efficient way to buy shoes on web. Wanted some (Genuine) Redwings, I got the size wrong (too long and wide) returned using the post label, re-ordered shorter & wider boots. It all happened so smoothly & quickly. The savings I made buying from Legend were significant too. I’ll be back (although it’ll be some time before I need to buy Red Wings again 😃). Highly recommended seller - go there. 👍🏻”
