Please note Leasing.com is a vehicle leasing comparison site for main dealers and brokers to advertise their lease deals so we don't offer or arrange vehicle finance, provide any financial advice, or supply the vehicles advertised on our site. “The service was good and easy up to the point I accepted the quote and price, and signed up. They came back to say couldn’t do what they had quoted now with the company they were using for the car I’d chosen. I was offered a contract paying 3 times the upfront price I had asked for. There was no other offer available I was told . The agent could not seem to understand why I was not willing to pay £750 upfront as well as their fee of £216 even though I had initially signed up for only £250 first month payment upfront. I explained that I had not planned for a nearly £1,000 outlay that month but was made to feel as if I was silly not to accept what was offered., and felt I was being pressured to say yes. They even questioned if I would have accepted the original offer if available (of course I would have) as if I was just messing them around. Eventually after a difficult phone call, I told them that I was going to leave it as what I had seen advertised was not available. I went elsewhere the next day to a company recommended to me by a colleague and ordered a car & terms I wanted straight away. I know Leasing.com has a very good reputation, and the new car lease company I’m using confirmed this, but my experience was not good, which is a shame.”
