“Very disappointed when the earstud arrived, it was so minute that it was difficult to see the detail. Obviously hugely magnified in the product photos on the website.”

Our studs can look small when they arrive in the jewellery box but once fitted in an ear our customers usually find they are the perfect size. “I measured my nose piercing and checked the photos that were against the 8mm product. What has arrived is MUCH larger than the picture made it look. I’m now having to re-buy from another retailer as they are none refundable. I was dubious about sizing - but the picture was clear and I showed other people for a second opinion but there is no way what is pictured is what I received. The hoop I did receive is lovely, and a nice dainty thickness. It just wasn’t suitable for what I wanted.”

Hi Amy, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so sorry to hear that the 8mm clicker hoop was not as you expected. We include professional photography of our jewellery being worn by real models for a rough guide on how the jewellery should fit. However, everybody's ear/nose anatomy is different and we suggest customers visit a reputable piercer if they are unsure on sizing. A piercer should be able to advise on what size would suit you best depending on your desired look and fit of the jewellery. Again, we are sorry you can't use the hoop for your intended piercing, hopefully you can find an alternative piercing placement where the hoop will be more suited to. “Your jewelry is beautiful! Unfortunately, since it's purchased online, it's hard to know what the real size of the pieces is, earrings in particular. When they arrive and are too small or too big, there is a "no return/exchange policy". I guess earrings just have to be purchased in physical stores in the future.”

“I ordered the lightening bolt for my daughter. I was extremely surprised as it is so small, I could hardly find it in the box. Seems a lot of money £42 for something so tiny. I just hope she is pleased with it.....”

All our earrings are designed to be very dainty - so that you can wear lots together up your ears. Our earrings can look super tiny in the box but once in an ear they should fit perfectly so hopefully this has been the case with your daughter. “Received my new earring for my tragus piercing only to discover the bar is too short and I am unable to return it. The earring was lovely but now out £50 for something I cannot use ☹️”

Hi Kirstin, Thank you for supporting our family business and taking time to leave a review. I am so sorry to hear that a stud you purchased from us is too short to fit through your tragus piercing. As you are already aware, we cannot accept returns on all of our earrings for hygiene reasons. However, it may be worth taking your stud to a reputable piercer as they may be able to help select an alternative existing or future placement where the stud will fit more comfortably. We are also launching a collection of studs with longer 8mm post lengths at the beginning of next year which may be more suitable for your tragus piercing. Our orders are shipped same working day if ordered before 12 noon or next working day if ordered after. Since you ordered after 5pm on a Friday, your order was shipped on the Monday with Royal Mail 48hr service which meant your order was delivered on the Wednesday. If you're looking for faster shipping next time, we offer a fastest delivery option at checkout which is sent Royal Mail Special 24 hr, this would have meant your package arrived on the Tuesday instead. “I love the pieces I bought. The only thing I would say is that the stems of the studs are too short. 6mm doesn't suit everyone's ear type. I only saw 2 pieces that were 8mm. There should be more of a variety to suit all.”

Hi Ciara Thank you for your review and for shopping with us, we're so glad you love your new earrings. As a young, small business we aren't currently able to offer a variety of lengths in each design so we make all our studs in a 6mm post which is the most universal size.
